Fighting for the unified WBA, WBO world featherweight titles.
This will be a 12, 3-minute round, equal meant to cheer out for them.
Let's make a round of applause for Amanda Serrano Sky Paulson,
January 9th at Coliseo de Puerto Rico.
Serrano vs. Sky Paulson.
It means everything and I always knew
that my last fight, my last...
Steph will be here in Puerto Rico.
You guys have been with me from the very beginning,
supporting me, loving me, and I've been fighting for you guys.
Look, to be honest, I never thought that I'd get a call-up
to fight Amanda Serrano.
You know, I watch her, I'm a fan of hers,
so she is the best, and that's just the way it is.
To get a call-up to fight her was a dream come true.
You know, I actually cried about it.
So it's been an amazing, the opportunity
is something I'm going to grab hold of and I just can't wait.
This is my last fight,
and I made sure that I went back to the 12 three-minute rounds
because I want to enjoy every second,
every minute of my last fight in there.
And I'm so thankful and grateful to Sky for taking the fight.
I mean, she's a warrior, too.
She's not ranked number three for no reason.
She deserves this opportunity, and I know she's going to come,
and she's going to try to come upset me here in Puerto Rico.
There we go.
I'm going to go out there and I'm going to give it my all.
If the knockout comes, it comes,
but I'm going to enjoy, like I said, every second.
So if I win or when I do win on January the 9th, it will be.
Game-changing for me, for everything I've worked for, like, it's just
a dream, you know, if you can't dream it, then you can't achieve it,
and if I could still be here, I'm just, I'm not here just to take part
in Amanda's history, you know, I'm here to try to write my own,
and I wouldn't be a fighter if I didn't believe I could win, you know.
For me greatness requires sacrifice.
I sacrificed my whole life to be great and that's why I'm sitting here
as one of the most as some say. And I just believe in yourself
and work hard and anything and everything is possible.
I'm going to miss you guys screaming my name, cheering for me.
I think that's going to be the hardest part.
Not being able to walk into an arena
and have people cheer for me and me performing for you guys.
