We are heartbroken to announce
the passing of our sister, Nicole Taylor.
We honestly thought she'd be healed here on earth,
but now she's healed in heaven.
We have some notes here, and as some of y'all know,
she was diagnosed with breast cancer
back in 2022, stage three.
It was an aggressive type,
and her words when she first found out were God's going to use
us for his glory.
She fought it fearlessly, and she said,
we're not going to live in dread during all of this,
and she even did CrossFit while she was doing her chemo treatments.
She responded well to treatments,
and she was declared evidence without disease.
Then after that, she was told it turned into stage four.
She tried not to live in fear, remained really hopeful,
traveled, she tried to live life,
she worked really hard, she tried to have fun.
Around nine months later, she had a more serious diagnosis,
and after she asked the doctors
her prognosis...
They said it was around three months,
and if the treatments worked, they didn't know
how long after that.
I was there, and she replied to the doctor.
She said, everybody's going to face judgment, and I'm ready to.
Here's a video of her testimony in her early 20s
on why she was ready to face judgment.
Hey, my name's Nicole.
I'm going to tell you my story of hope.
I gave my life to Christ when I was around 15 years old.
Before then, it was all about how good
of a person that I thought I was.
I was involved in church.
I was in a youth group.
I was in a Christian band even.
But I never came to a point in my life where I really
realized how wicked and evil I was without Christ.
How much I needed God.
How much He didn't need me at all.
And one night at church,
the Holy Spirit just began to convict my heart.
And just began to show me how lost I really was.
The best way I can describe
the way I felt was, the Bible verse it says,
Our righteousness is like filthy rags.
God actually made me feel like filthy rags that night,
and I'm so thankful that He did that.
You know, a lot of us look at conviction
as such a bad thing or a scary thing.
Conviction is a blessing that the Creator
of the universe would speak to us.
He would show us how much we really need Him.
I'm so thankful that He did that.
He actually sent His Son to die on the cross for us,
and His Son actually overcame all of our sins.
So He has a right to show us how much we need Him.
When the invitation came, instead
of playing the invitation with my sisters,
I walked down the aisle for the invitation
and just asked Jesus to save me.
No special fancy prayer, just Jesus saved me.
I committed my life to Jesus Christ.
I repented of my sins.
I said, you know, God, from now on,
I want to be more like you every day,
but I need your help.
God's given me so much purpose and joy,
and I'm so thankful that I committed my life to him.
If you want to do the same, I want to encourage you to do so.
Me and Natalie have a similar testimony.
What we would say the Holy Spirit revealed to us,
our sin and need for God.
Yeah, we all have the same fate as Nicole.
Are you ready is the question.
She lived around a year after that prognosis,
and during the time of the more extreme diagnosis,
we felt led to not live in fear and plain feeling.
And God encouraged us in so many ways.
He was with us, and Nicole, before passing,
she said she had so much peace.
We are still shocked and didn't think this would happen,
but we know she's not suffering anymore and we have God's promise.
