Ladies and gentlemen, this is GOES-19 Core 1.
And I've been wondering why it lights up like this every day.
This is a new instrument out on our brand new GOES-19 satellite,
but more than that today, we have a second sun that has shown up,
and you can see it right to, well,
it starts out right about here, and it's going to travel,
I guess, towards the left here within the screen here.
There it shows up, you can see it traveling,
you can see it's a circle as well.
The perfect circle.
And it travels to the left and then disappears.
And then, well, core one goes back to normal.
And this is what core one looks like.
Shows the plasmas regularly, one of our very best instruments.
I'll show you again.
Here's where the second sun shows up.
But this shouldn't be daylight looking anyway.
This is over 150 miles in our atmosphere on our GOES satellite,
where it's black.
So it should look like this but it's been looking like
this and now all of a sudden I think I figured
out why. There's a second sun here that y'all can see
on the bottom. You can watch it as it moves from
down the bottom here and moves its way across
and you can see the perfect circle right here.
You can't tell me you can't see
that and obviously this is the lens cover.
To cover the camera from our actual sun,
call it our actual sun, but this makes zero sense.
I was wondering why it was so lit up,
and then all of a sudden, look at that.
You can see that circular object that looks like a second sun,
and that would be about
the size of our sun, it looks like, right under it.
Do you all not see that?
I'm hoping someone besides me sees this, so they don't think I'm crazy.
At first I couldn't figure out why it was all bright,
but then I ran it back and forth and saw that there
was a second body there traveling from the right to the top left.
That's where it comes out, and then you can see it travel over here,
and you can see that it's really a perfect circle.
I can't answer this question.
Obviously, this is the lens cover covering our sun.
It shouldn't be this bright anyway.
This is what it should look like, i.e. core one.
And the brightness itself was confusing me,
I guess, until I saw, this is backwards, until
I saw this.
I'm going to go the right way.
Obviously, there's a second sun here.
And this is our, well.
One of the best instruments that we have to look at our sun with,
Core One, and that's our brand new GOES-19 Core One.
What it should look like, should have the plasma and all that,
leaving it like this.
And what do we have?
Well, we have what looks like daytime outside,
but more so, we have a second source
of light here on the bottom of Core One.
I won't say I know what it is.
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Let me know what you think.
To me, it looks like a second sun.
Very, very close to our sun.
That said, God bless, folks.
Let me know.
