We checked on Jack and Gretchen’s training… and then I finally shared the mini horse I’ve been keeping a secret 🐴✨

Today I got to go visit Jack and Gretchen while they’ve been in training, and I honestly still can’t believe how much they’ve grown and changed in just a few months. Jack is turning into the cutest little show prospect, and it was so fun getting to talk through what his future might look like in the show pen. We also spent time with Gretchen after her first show (she did SO good 💕), and I even got a little hands-on lesson learning how to present minis in halter.

We talked all about what showing miniature horses actually looks like—from halter classes to driving, liberty, jumping, and more. There are so many opportunities with these little horses, and I’m still learning something new every time I’m around them!

Then we headed over to another barn… where I finally got to share a little secret I’ve been keeping 🤭 I introduced y’all to my newest miniature mare, Penny, and got to meet some of the sweetest, tiniest baby minis. I swear, baby horses will never not be my weakness. We also talked through Penny’s pedigree and future plans, and I am SO excited about what’s ahead for her.

Days like this just make me love the mini horse world even more. They may be small, but there’s so much personality, talent, and possibility packed into them—and I love getting to bring y’all along while I figure it all out.

Let me know in the comments—what do you think of Jack and Gretchen’s progress? And are you as obsessed with Penny as I am?!
