says his polling points to Democrats taking back the House, with Republicans facing just a 1-in-4 chance of holding the Senate.

“I know that this is not gonna be a popular message,” Mitchell admits.

He argues the GOP has struggled to hold onto the independents and crossover voters who helped deliver Trump's 2024 victory, pointing to economic concerns and declining support among key voting blocs.

But Mitchell also says surprises are still possible on Election Day.
