CRIES FROM THE COTTON FIELD | Documentary | FULL MOVIE

An extraordinary true story of faith, perseverance, and survival.

Cries from the Cotton Field tells the remarkable story of Italian families who were recruited to work the cotton fields of the American South following the Civil War. Promised opportunity and a better future, many instead faced harsh conditions, poverty, disease, and overwhelming hardship.

Narrated through the story of Father Pietro Bandini, a courageous priest who became a guiding force for these immigrant families, this powerful documentary explores a forgotten chapter of American history and the resilience of those who refused to give up hope.

Through historical research, personal accounts, and stunning locations in both the United States and Italy, Cries from the Cotton Field chronicles a journey of struggle, faith, community, and determination that continues to resonate today.
