HEGSETH FIRED OVER IRAN? Trump's Secret Action Against War Secy, Pentagon Chief Revealed | Details

Donald Trump is privately questioning the performance of Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs Chairman General Dan Caine as the Iran war drags into its eighth month, according to The Atlantic. The report says Trump has grown frustrated with the conflict’s political impact ahead of the midterms and is examining whether advisers who initially projected confidence gave him an overly optimistic picture. One adviser quoted by The Atlantic alleged that Hegseth is “good at telling the president what he wants to hear.” The Pentagon strongly rejects that claim, while the White House publicly says Trump retains “full confidence” in both Hegseth and Caine. The scrutiny comes as Trump considers another round of strikes. Options reportedly range from hours-long attacks to weeks of combat or maintaining the naval blockade. The question hanging over Washington: can another escalation produce the victory Trump wants — and does he still trust the team recommending it?
