Trump-netanyahu Iran War Call: Is Israel Pushing for Fresh Strikes after Us Midterms? | N18

US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have reportedly held a private phone call to discuss the next move in the Iran war, as Washington weighs whether to resume military operations after the US midterm elections.

According to reports citing US and Israeli sources, Netanyahu is pressing Trump to launch fresh strikes against Iran immediately after Tuesday’s vote. Trump, however, is reportedly inclined to allow diplomatic negotiations with Tehran more time to play out.

The reported call comes amid ongoing mediation efforts involving Qatar and renewed preparations for a possible military escalation. US officials have said that no final decision has been made, while the administration continues to pursue diplomatic and military options.
