Julie chimes explains how her near-death experience happened, and how it has changed her vision of life and death. Her website: https://www.juliechimes.com
A woman shares her transformative journey following a violent attack and a near-death experience. Through an out-of-body journey and a spiritual life review, she discovered the interconnectedness of all beings and the power of karma. Her survival led to a complete life overhaul, shifting her focus from material success to a lifelong pursuit of divine love, compassion, and spiritual truth.
I was born in a little town in the middle
of England to a mother who was destined to
become Miss Great Britain within not even a year of my birth.
She was one of the most, suddenly one
of the most famous women in the world.
So my upbringing was very bohemian, very unusual,
and I ended up working in the media, which
it was a thing I wanted to completely avoid,
but life sometimes pushes you, I think, where
You can look back with hindsight and say, well, you have resistance.
So I did all the things that the 80s people were doing.
I had my own businesses. I was very successful.
I was also a racing driver and people would say I had a wonderful life.
I had a lovely partner.
We had a home in London as well as in the countryside.
side.
We were earning good money.
I had a fantastic time, but empty, void.
I always felt there was something missing.
I didn't like how you had to be, I didn't like myself,
and also I was questioning my relationship.
Just the whole way my life was going, it was very cozy,
but I didn't know how to get out of it,
or how to change it.
Something in my soul was calling out for something deeper.
You know when we arrive on this earth there's
no sign that says you are here,
this is where you need to be going,
these are the people you need to meet. You have
no idea and so most of us feel completely lost.
So I decided that I'd come to Spain
where my mother was actually staying
to take some time out from working.
And when I was in Spain, I had a powerful dream, a nightmare.
I saw my partner at the time in our home in England being attacked
in the kitchen of the cottage that we lived in.
And it was such, you know, so powerful that I woke up
and I started to really feel like I could
not go back to that life I was in.
So there was definitely something in the, you know, in the air.
And my mother...
She begged me not to go back to London.
She said, please, please, just stay. Stay longer, rest.
And I said, no, I have business things. I've got things I must do.
But she had a gold crucifix and she wasn't a religious person,
but she had this gold cross that she...
Put round my neck and she said, it will protect you.
And I said to her, because my mum's very psychic,
I said, if you think the plane is going to crash,
just tell me and I won't get on it.
And she said, no, no, no, I don't know what it is,
but I think you need this as protection.
Well, I got back and my partner received a call from the police
the morning that I'd arrived at six o'clock in the morning, woke us up.
They'd got a lady that was on a train
who was behaving in a very strange manner
And they asked if they could bring...
Her to his medical practice
and whether he could assess what she needed.
And so the police brought her very,
very early that morning at eight o'clock.
She was already there.
He said, well, I'm really busy.
I've got a full surgery of patients to see
if you could hold on to her and bring her a bit later.
This woman has asked if she could come and wait in the cottage,
which was just like a few doors down from where his practice was.
And it was normal back then, I have to say that,
because people now are going,
oh my God, how could he do that?
The cottage was a waiting room also for patients, you know.
So I said yes, because I thought it was somebody in trouble
and that I could just sit with her until he could see her.
And so she came in, she said she was very pleased to see me.
You know, like you do, I offered her a drink to make her comfortable
and she said that she hadn't slept for very many nights.
She just looked pathetic.
You know, just a lost, broken person.
And I didn't really know very much about her at all.
And I just did what my heart told me to do.
And I said, look, you wait here a minute in the kitchen.
I'll just go upstairs to my office
and I'll just check how long he's going to be.
Just make yourself a cup of tea while I go and make the call.
And I went up to my office.
And of course, in those days, you know,
a doctor's surgery had maybe two telephone lines
and they were just always engaged.
So I rang and rang.
I could not get through, could not get through.
So I came back down to the kitchen
and I heard the drawer that has the cutlery rattling.
I thought, ah, she's making herself a cup of tea, good.
And then I went down in the cottage,
the staircase that went down into the kitchen.
And as I ran down,
all I can remember is that there was a really big scream.
And this woman was running up the stairs.
And I just didn't know what was happening.
But I looked down and there was a carving knife in my middle.
And, well, yeah, in the blink of an eye, everything changed.
And the thing that surprised me was that it
was like an icicle had gone into my middle.
It was so cold.
Everything went, like the whole staircase went freezing cold.
I looked down and I thought this is very, very serious.
I remember thinking that and thinking
how are you going to get out of this one?
And then the next thing I knew was I was actually
watching this scene from above.
And I was looking down onto the staircase, I could see her screaming,
I could see, like I couldn't hear the words, but I could just see,
like, energy, foam and black energy coming out of her mouth,
and sometimes I was looking from my eyes,
looking at her, and sometimes I was looking from above,
it was like I was in and out, and in and out, and then...
Suddenly I was gone and I was swinging on a trapeze
and just swinging amongst the stars in a vast,
vast sky and kind of laughing.
Just how ridiculous that was going to be the end of that life,
of that person, and if that was me, who's this?
Who is this? Who is this in the vastness of the sky and feeling freedom
and liberty and hearing incredible music and feeling immense?
I couldn't understand what I was out of my body because there seemed
to be no boundary or definition or shape or it was just feelings.
And light, unlike any light that I know of this earth,
I guess it's the light that surpasses all understanding.
It's a light that penetrates.
A light that is, just is. It is everything.
And we're a particle of that, like a droplet from the ocean
that you think you're separate and that you're all on your own
and then you fall back into this vast ocean and you think,
you idiot, you're part of something so immense and incredible.
How could you believe yourself to be so small?
And then I was introduced to this voice
and I say I don't know whether it was male or female
but I guess it was more of a male energy on it.
It was difficult to tell but it was just
like a someone that I knew and they knew me for sure
and they said you know you'll have to go back
and I said well I'm not going back in there why would I want
to go back in there I'm going to be
I'd be so injured.
And then I was arguing with this wonderful being, so he took me
on a journey, and I saw, I guess you'd say the life review,
I didn't know any of those phrases to be honest, I mean it was just,
but I saw thousands of television screens, like vast,
vast television screens, all appeared in this sort of great hall,
and on every single screen there were scenes of my life.
But not just the life that I knew,
but past lives, ancient lives.
And then the minute a screen caught my attention,
I was inside the television screen,
in the scene for real.
So for example, one of the things
that really caught me was in a playground in a school,
very little, and a girl had been really nasty to me.
I was a new girl at the school and she'd
been quite cruel to me and got everybody
in the playground to chant and call these
me bad names. And I was just not saying anything and very quiet.
And so the more I was quiet,
the more the kids were bullying and teasing me. Well,
The scene shifted and then it was her coming up to me a few weeks later
and holding my hands and looking in my eyes and saying I'm really sorry
for what I did to you. I shouldn't have done that.
I'm really really sorry. And I pushed her away
and turned my back on her and I walked away and I didn't.
accept the apology and I felt the pain inside me of my cruelty when
somebody had come to me with honest remorse and I just ignored them
and I wanted to punish them and wanted to continue this sort of feeling
this bad feeling and so it was a really small scene but very powerful
and then I thought God everything that we've ever done
It has an effect on another human being or a collective consciousness
and everywhere we walk, every step we take, every breath we take,
every thought that we have is energy and that energy
is affecting the wheel of karma. It was such a revelation.
And then I was caught in another area where I went back
into a life in France, and I was on a hillside.
I was surrounded by, I would say, Christian knights,
and I was clearly not of that order, and I was about to be killed.
And I was standing on this hillside in the French Pyrenees.
I felt very deep love for that landscape.
And I remember I just cried out in this scene,
how many more times do I have to die for you?
I want to live for you and I want to love for you,
not die for you anymore.
And I then had this sort of like card shuffling scenes of
the amount of times that I'd died in the name of
What I believe the God force and the universal force is,
which is not a religion, but an absolute fact
that within every single human being there is a spark of light.
that lies dormant and it needs waking up
and when it's waking up it needs to be nurtured
and it needs to be understood and it needs to be brought out
so that we can shine so that we
can live a life where we listen to that and not all
the chatter of of everything that's out here
that turning back in on ourselves
and so i realized that i had a lot of knowledge latent within me
But I also had a lot of fear about expressing it
because I always seemed to be killed for it.
And it was happening to me again on a staircase in Hampshire.
And then I suddenly felt like
a tremendous force pulled me back into the body and the pain.
And going back into my body felt like being poured into you know
if you wear clothes that are too tight and they're the wrong fabric
and they make you sweat and they make you uncomfortable
and they make you irritable and you just want to get home
and rip them off and get into something more comfortable.
Well life in my body felt like that. Tight shoes, tight clothes,
tight, tight, tight, constricted, limited feeling.
But the voice was talking to me
and telling me what to do and this woman was saying,
she wasn't a woman, she had the growling voice of evil,
pure evil, and it was saying that I had to die to save the world,
that she'd been sent to kill me to save the world.
Pretty dramatic, you know,
for a little cottage in Hampshire in England, and I don't know
how it happened, and it's really hard even to say it,
and it's very emotional for me,
but I just looked in her eyes and I felt
so much love for her that I just said, I love
you, you cannot kill me.
um
And I felt it so strongly that this time I wasn't going
to die and then the voice was
telling me what I had to do to get out
you
of the cottage and and just to...
Flip back to my mother's cross.
very
At one point when she had hold of my sweater and was,
you know, just like putting, this cross fell out.
And it was just at the point where I'd gotten to the door
much.
of the cottage that I was going to be able to get out of the house.
And when the cross flew out of my sweater, she froze staring at it
because I think in her messed up delusional mind,
she felt that I was evil.
So she didn't expect to see a gold crucifix come out of my clothing.
And that moment was a contributory factor to saving my life
because I could reach for the door handle behind me.
And there is a story about the door,
but that was another little miracle.
I'd been told to change the front door
by a psychic six weeks beforehand.
It's such a significant story
because I was on a business appointment and it was pouring with rain
and when I got there I was told by the receptionist
that the person I was meeting was,
they were delayed.
Anyway, I thought, well, I've got no time to go back to my office
and it was a part of London that there were no cafes
or there wasn't really any,
no shops, it was a residential square and then I remembered.
I remember that when I was very small
my mum had taken me to this square and it was the
headquarters of the British Spiritualist Association.
You could go there and have a
psychic reading and all that was going
on but the thing that I thought about was the library
and I thought I can go in there and maybe just go
and read a book for an hour. Well I got into the
reception area and this receptionist looked up
and said oh you must be the three o'clock appointment.
And I said, oh no, no, no, I haven't got an appointment,
I haven't got an appointment.
And she said, don't be shy, is it your first time?
And I felt like I was going into a brothel,
you know, I said, no, no, I said, no, I really,
I understand there's a library here,
and I remember a library, and I just wondered if,
and she said, no, she said, go and have the appointment, it's, really.
And I ended up just saying yes.
And I went in and there was a Scottish man.
And he's got these piercing blue eyes and he asked me to sit down
and he told me some things like about family that I just sort
of leaned forward and thought, how could he possibly know that?
So that got my attention
and he's got a really strong Scottish accent, you knew it.
And he suddenly went, change your front door!
Change your front door! And I was thinking...
I've spent all this money to get DIY,
you know do-it-yourself instructions from
from somebody telling me to change my front door.
I was even more angry and he just kept saying it,
he said you have to change your door, you must change your door.
So I left the session, I got
outside, I remember I just looked up into the grey London sky
and it was raining and I went all right.
All right, I'll change the door
because in the cottage where I was living there was a new brand
new front door. It had been there for nearly you know months
and months. We needed to get a carpenter
to come because the cottage entrance was really tiny
and the door opened inwards. We'd always
wanted it to open outwards
so that there would be more room for people to flow and come and go
and I went home that night
and I ordered the carpenter to come and change the door.
And that is absolutely...
What saved my life.
I would never have lived if that door had opened inwards.
I would never, because I would have fallen against the door
and therefore how could it possibly have opened?
But I could reach behind me and turn the latch.
I fell backwards out of the door and I got out of the cottage.
I got into the road.
I thought it would be like a Hollywood movie.
In my head I thought someone's got to rescue me
if I can just get into that driveway.
And I was so badly injured that I was actually lying
On the floor crawling
and I felt like I was crawling up the north face of a mountain
and all the time she was still attacking me
with various instruments from the kitchen let's say
and really hurting me but I knew that if I could get
to the road that I would be saved. I just knew
and this voice was saying that it was all going to be okay
and that I was loved and
Everything I heard was not just words, it entered into my entire being,
and I was so filled with this sense of love and expansiveness,
and that there was not a thing within me that could harm her.
There were moments in the struggle for my life where I could have maybe
turned things onto her in order to save myself, but I couldn't do it.
I couldn't do it. And how can you know
that that's within you unless you're faced with
that sort of situation? I couldn't harm her.
And I knew I had to get away and I had to
be strong and I had to defend myself, but I didn't have to attack.
And so when I got to the road,
the cars were actually driving around me, they didn't stop.
And I mean, I think back and I think, well,
if I'd have seen that scene, I would have probably
run like hell as well, because you don't get involved.
And so there were people gathering
and they didn't know what to do.
And they were all, I could hear them all talking and all their
conversations, really hear them in my head really loud.
Like, anyone called an ambulance? Oh, no,
mate, they're on strike. How much blood can a person lose?
Oh, my God, she's a goner.
Anyone call the old Bill, you know,
and all this conversation was going on all around me.
And I was thinking, my God,
isn't there anybody there who knows what to do?
And like telling me that the ambulances were on strike,
not a good thing to hear in my position.
But one of the most profound things was to be able to see
and hear everybody.
What they were saying,
what people were saying over my apparently dead body, watching it all,
but watching it all
from a very expansive perspective where I didn't feel any pain
and I didn't feel any judgment about what was happening. I just felt,
ah, well, maybe this is it.
Maybe this is the point at which I leave this earth.
Yes, and...
I saw people not so much as physical,
but as energy and light, and I could see and read
into people's souls from the perspective of being out of my body.
I could see people's
life and why they were the way they walked,
the way they held their bodies. It just seemed
to be an open book of their history as a soul,
and I found that really fascinating.
And then there was a builder who had been walking past the driveway.
There was a very high railway bridge
and he got onto the bridge and he was walking across
going to have an early lunch and he thought that he heard a scream.
And he stopped, and in that moment he realised that he'd left
his jacket with his wallet in back on the building site.
So he turned round to go back, and when he got to the driveway,
he saw me lying there, still being attacked, nobody helping.
And he was so brave. He just walked up, and without any fear,
he just said to this woman, please put it down.
It's enough now. It's done. Put it down.
And he disarmed her, and I heard some people cheering,
because he was just an amazing young man.
And then the ambulances were on strike,
so the police had arrived by then,
and I was rushed to hospital in the back of a police
car at a very high speed,
and I was in and out of consciousness
and in and out of otherworldly experiences.
Too many maybe to go into now,
but suffice to say that my soul, I was taken to a courtroom
after seeing all the television screens
and going into some of the scenes and remembering
the lessons that I should have learnt.
I was taken into this courtroom where I was on trial
for my life. But it wasn't a courtroom of judgement,
it was a courtroom filled with
love and it's like the Egyptian book of the dead,
you know, they weigh your soul against
Just a feather.
And it was presented to me like a game, a game show,
where word association, this being who was guiding me,
threw all these words at me for me to say whatever came into my mind.
And whatever came into my mind lit up
on great big screens for this courtroom to see,
and they were either cheering or booing, like a comedy show.
And then, at the end of this scene, they decided how many
good scenes there were against how many negative scenes.
And there were too many negative scenes,
so very quickly they went and sent her back.
And then I was given some instructions as to why I was coming back,
what I had to do when I came back,
and how to keep the connection alive within me.
It would be impossible to keep my life after what I'd experienced.
And so I knew that I would give up my work
and that I would give up my relationship, I would give up my home.
And I wanted to go on a quest to try
and understand what had happened to me.
To find people that could help me, because I thought I was going mad.
In the aftermath and the recovery,
I had 32 wounds in my body and I should never have lived.
I died in the operating theatre. I had to be brought back. I flatlined.
I lost all my circulating blood. I was pronounced dead.
And I was watching and then in and then out
and it was a very exhausting experience.
I was in intensive care, and then I was in recovery,
and a lot of physical injuries to overcome.
My right hand was paralysed, my face was disfigured
and needed quite a lot of surgery, my jaw was broken.
Some of the injuries were like one millimetre from my heart.
So during that time, there was a point where I lost touch
with the voice and the feelings, and all I knew was terrible pain.
I felt very lost for a while, and not only that,
I didn't really have anybody I could talk to about it.
You know, because it's a very private thing,
and it's not something that I even knew how to articulate.
But I told my mother, and I told my late uncle, who I was very close
to, who also was very much in tune with otherworldly things.
And I did tell them and they absolutely believed me,
but they told me not to talk about it.
And as a result of all of those injuries,
I didn't work for six or seven months.
I was self-employed, I had my own businesses,
but if I couldn't work, I couldn't, I had no income.
And I also had debts because I had staff to pay, I had taxes to pay.
And it took everything that I had financially,
I was cleaned out in order to just survive.
So I had a lot of doubts and a lot of fear.
What am I going to do and where am I going to go?
And I remember calling out and I said,
Who are you? Who are you? Where are you? Where are you?
And then it came back.
And I said, Where have you been?
And he said, I've been nowhere.
Where have you been, more to the point?
And gave me this incredible lesson that
we're all surrounded by guides and loved ones and spirit and energy
Is he wanting to...
hold us in their loving arms but we are so blocked
and so full of doubt and fear and
cynicism and not listening to ourselves
and self-pity and victimhood and wallowing in
our own misery, that builds a wall that they can't get through.
And I've been in that place lots
of times where I don't hear anything and I don't see
anything and I just feel life's a pile
of very difficult stuff to negotiate.
And I also feel hopelessness because that's the other thing,
even though these marvelous things happen,
I'm human and the human experience is not an easy one,
especially these days, and it's an
in and an out, but the direction is always the same,
back into the heart, back into the heart,
and I've never wavered on that.
I always pick myself up and go back into my heart, always.
Even though I wander, get lost, get broken sometimes.
And so the overall message was that I had to live my life
dedicated to the love that I'd experienced for the rest of my life,
whatever that would take.
And so it took me on a quest around the world to find meaning.
And understanding, because it's, you know,
I think a lot of people have experiences.
They don't need to go through what I went through.
Lots of people have dreams that are very lucid,
déjà vu and past life experiences and out-of-body experiences,
as well as near-death experiences.
But if you don't have a good guide to explain what's happening,
they can drive you to madness, I think.
So, I decided to...
Go on an adventure to find people in this world that could teach me
and I gave up everything.
I left London, I left my partner,
I left my cottage home, I left my friends,
I left my business, I left my London apartment,
I sold everything I could,
I used the money to repay what I owed
and I started this life again with nothing.
I met a beautiful man who was to be my companion
and eventually my husband.
I always think of him as a protector
who kept me a little bit out of this world.
You know we lived in very remote places in India,
in the United States, we were
in Europe and that's when I was able to write about my experiences.
And the other thing that is more profound
is that if a message could come to me from the world of spirit
to tell me to change the door they must have known that this was going
to happen and they didn't say don't let a stranger into your house.
They didn't warn me about that. So I was meant to live.
That's my only conclusion. I was meant to survive.
Against all the odds I was meant to survive
and that gave me a lot of courage and a lot of hope
that the messages that I'd received when I was out of my body
everything made more sense.
In the experience I actually heard a voice talking to me
and I hear the same
voice in my dreams.
I go on wonderful adventures in my dreams and I have
out-of-body experiences
and then I definitely hear the voice but sometimes
I just hear it inside myself
and when I was tiny my mother and my stepfather we
lived on the Channel Islands and I lived in Jersey.
And the only school I could be sent
to that was any good was a Catholic convent.
Well, I was neither christened, certainly not Catholic,
and so it was a very strange experience
learning all about angels and hell.
And I had a very strange view that angels were these big
things with wings that were going to wag their finger at you
and tell you off all the time.
So when I had this experience of what I would call was an angel,
An angelic energy.
It was nothing like anything I'd ever been brainwashed with.
It was funny, laughing, laughing at my situation,
teasing me, like having a real banter between us.
And I'm arguing and it's arguing back and laughing and no judgment.
Nothing at all to make me feel small.
But just constantly always saying, look,
my friend, always calling me my friend.
You need to have patience. My friend, you will see. You will see.
And never telling me what to do,
but guiding me like in a bookshop, for example.
I'd go into a bookshop and the intuitive voice would say,
go up to the third floor and go to that shelf
and pick up the seventh book along and open it and read.
And I would do that.
Or go and talk to that person on the bus.
Or go and sit in that seat there, in the train.
So there are many messengers now, and the message is beautiful.
And it all comes down to the same thing in the end, doesn't it?
That the only thing that matters is love.
And how we get there is our own unique destiny.
And we're equal to it.
And if we're lost and we need help, just ask, you know, it comes.
Just ask to wake up.
I feel that it's so subtle it's very hard to grasp
but when you get hold of it and you feel it and
you start to feel and see it working
in your life it is amazing. No, of course not!
If only I had, if I trusted that voice I think I would
be so full of light now it would be dazzling
but I don't and I doubt and I fear
and I do sometimes the opposite and get down a path,
down a rabbit hole that's really painful.
But like I said earlier I always
wake up in the end back and I realise I've lost my connection.
How do we get that connection? How do you keep it?
That was one of my big things.
How do you keep in touch with that amazing part
of you that is so filled with love?
You have to learn to differentiate between the energy of truth
and the energy of your fear.
They both exist equally within you.
And that really is why I'm sure they call it
the razor's edge, the path,
because it's so easy to...
And also, you know, people, when they get...
Like very much that they won't acknowledge the darkness
and they want only to acknowledge the light.
It's like going to an art gallery where the paintings have no shadows
or to watch a movie where there are no bad people.
It's so boring.
I mean, I think life is all of the colours
and we have to embrace everything
but have discernment to differentiate.
Between what is ultimately for our highest truth and our highest good,
and what is going
to lead us away from that.
And I can say that the summary of those voices that I heard
and those experiences that I
had taught me in that moment that love is more powerful than hatred,
and that love overcomes
fear.
But you have to trust it.
You have to trust it.
And you have to trust your inner voice of goodness
and you have to learn to differentiate
between what I call the voice of the ego,
which is the collective fears that we've gathered
over lifetimes and doubts.
And if you start to only listen to the darkness,
you don't allow that inner light and that
inner love to blossom and the darkness can overtake you
and it can take you on a very
painful journey.
Just from those days in hospital where I
was feeling sorry for myself and I got
into a very victim state of mind, oh my god I've lost this,
oh I've had all these injuries in my
face, oh life will never be the same again,
I won't be able to do this, I won't have enough
money, you know,
well of course all of that beautiful energy can't get near me.
Because you can't attract the things
that you really would like to be in your life
when you're constantly thinking negative thoughts.
I heard that more than 90% of everything we think
is repetitive and negative.
That is the thing that is creating our reality.
The reality seems firm and fixed and real, but if we change our minds,
literally change our minds,
and try to think of things in a different way,
in a different light, in a different perspective,
instead of saying, I want this, I want this,
we say, thank you, thank you for what I do have,
rather than endlessly begging for what we don't have.
There is always a moment where the life can turn around
and the help can come from a higher energy.
Every one of us has a guide and those guides do not judge us.
They love us and they know our backstory.
When I was seeing in those television screens,
I could see people's history, why they were the way they were.
People that I have a real dislike
for in this lifetime, and I don't know why,
you know, they make your hair stand on end on the back of your neck,
you can get me away from that human being.
And then you actually can see what has happened to them
and what has made them and turned them into that monster.
Instead of hating them, you can begin to feel compassion for them
and a forgiveness towards them.
And I guess...
Your guides then can come closer to you.
You have to meet them halfway, that's what I'm trying to say.
You have to change your chip and not be a victim anymore.
Everything around me is meant to be.
It's meant to be this way, as painful and as horrible as it is,
or as wonderful as it is, in the blink of an eye, it can be gone.
Therefore, if all of that out there can be gone so quickly,
what do I cling to?
What do I hold on to?
And when you start to turn inside yourself and, well, who am I?
Who am I and why am I here?
And what is my purpose?
Help us.
Your guides will come a thousand steps towards you.
And you may not hear them and you may not see them,
but you may sit next to a stranger on the plane when you're leaving
and that stranger will look into your eyes
and say something that could change your life,
offer you something that you weren't expecting.
There's a realm of such incredible magic
and synchronicity and extraordinary things
and they're so close to all of us.
And so when I'm in a good place,
I mean by that where perhaps I have meditated
and I've been still, I'm still in my heart,
in my soul, in my head, in my thoughts,
in my physical body, I'm in good shape.
When I get into that place, I see things as very transparent.
And I do see people in the way that I saw them
when I was out of my body.
And I see what's hurting them sometimes.
I see what they need. I see the pain that they've suffered.
So, everything is speaking to us, every leaf,
every pebble, everything, it may seem solid, but it's not,
everything has an energy, and I'm sure, you know, you and many,
many thousands of people that probably watch something like this,
they know that, they know that if they're in an area,
if they go into a room, and there's a person that's got a nasty energy,
the room changes, because of that energy.
You can go into somebody's home
and you want to move in and stay there for the rest of your life
because it feels so welcoming and beautiful.
You can walk in a path in nature
and feel your heart explode and you can start to hear.
I mean, every leaf is singing.
The whole universe is the most incredible musical experience
and vibrational experience.
Everything is energy. All of the great sages have said
this and the mystics and the scientists,
they merge in the end and they all come to the same conclusion.
So nothing is as it seems.
Everything has got something to give you if you know how to listen,
if you learn how to see, if you learn how to feel.
And so the more I've learned, I realize the less that I know,
but one thing that I know in the highest sense
and I understand people like figures like the Christ
and the great gurus and the sages, where they say, I am, it is done.
Because the more you ask for something,
the more you actually push it away, strangely enough.
The true magic and miraculous and mysterious
and mystical happens when there is a knowing
that it's already there. It already exists.
So I don't pray in the way that I, please, please,
please let me have this. Please, please,
please make this person well. Please, please. I just
sit very still inside myself
and I can be in a busy motorway driving and I just feel my will
Will to God's will.
Whatever will be is done and just make me aware of what
my right action is and how I can best serve this situation.
I don't fear my own death and I haven't done since
that day but I do fear pain.
I always think I'd rather close my eyes
and go into a beautiful sleep and not wake up.
And I hope I'm done with the pain karma thing.
I hope.
But sometimes, you know, be careful what you think about
because you may be bringing something back to yourself.
But I also know that even in the midst of pain,
there is incredible potential for love.
And if that's the way my life has to end.
I would want my loved ones
and friends to know that I'm sure I will be absolutely fantastic
and flying and free and laughing and singing
and and being expansive and if I am permitted to I
will always come back and put my wings around all
those that I can and help you know help wake up.
It's time we need to wake up.
And I feel when people that I love die,
and I've had quite a lot of that in recent weeks and months,
I think it's best summed up by what my mum wrote
in her diary the night that she died. She wrote,
do not weep for what you have lost,
but rejoice for what you have gained.
For one eye laughs and one eye weeps.
And I just think that's so profound because
Yeah, I cry. I lost my brother only weeks ago
and he's autistic and has been like my child and my brother.
I've been so close to him
and so caring for him for every moment of my life that I can remember.
And I felt so sad when I got the call and so broken
and such a void that it's really strange that he's not there.
But the other part of me was thinking, fly,
my darling brother, get out of here, go, get
out of that life and that pain and that,
you know, very difficult things that he had to
endure in this lifetime,
so I can rejoice for him because I know where he is.
I know that the love that would be waiting
for him would be so incredible.
Yeah, I've had some interesting experiences of death,
like when mum died, and other friends too.
I've taken out of body to a wonderful sanctuary in the middle
of a forest, and it's all circular, everything is circles.
And...
My mum was in this room where it looked into an interior courtyard
which was filled with flowers and birds and insects and butterflies
of shimmering colours and textures.
And then the forest was singing
and it was a place of healing, I was told.
And I was also told that I could see my mother,
I could put my hands through and touch her hand.
Against this, it will look like glass,
but it wasn't glass, it was just energy.
But I must not in any way talk to her about her son, my brother,
because the fight that she had in her to protect that boy
and look after him in a world that would have people like him put away
in a home and never seen again.
The pull of that calm was so huge
that it would not help her onward journey.
And it would hold her back.
And that's happened on a few of my loved ones
that I have been able to visit.
It's like we have to go into a place where our soul rests
and we assimilate the life.
Our guides are with us to help us understand what has happened,
what we did do, what we maybe didn't do,
what we could have done, what we should have done,
how the design of the life worked.
It's an incredible time.
So I think death's a really exciting adventure,
not to be feared at all, and there's no judgment.
You have to face yourself. That's the only judgment.
You have to look in your own eyes and tell yourself the truth.
And everything that I've been told is it's far better
to do that whilst you're in a physical body.
Don't wait to die. Do it now.
The regret that you have, the if-only,
look at the time we waste as humans.
So don't waste time, don't waste time,
use time really wisely because you'll understand
what a great gift human life is.
It's an incredible thing we've been given to experience within
physical form the light of God.
Can you imagine what a gift that is? Because we have to bring
that light to life within physicality.
I mean all the paintings of sages, saints and with the,
you know, the halos and what is that?
The auras that, you know, I see around people. What is that?
My brother used to say to me a lot that he wouldn't go near some people
because they go black on him.
They go black. He said, I don't like people that go black on me.
And he was seeing, you know, how closed and negative.
He wouldn't go into, like, bars, some areas.
I took him on a holiday to the States, and I took him to Vegas,
and he just wouldn't go in.
He made him physically sick.
The smell of the money, the sound, the desperation of people,
that whole energy.
I mean, I thought it was good fun, by the way,
but he thought it was the most terrible place on earth.
So there are many angels.
They're right here.
That's the thing. They're right here.
And that's another thing that you asked me when,
you know, people want to know,
how do I find my angel? How do I find my guide?
Well, maybe look at the person sitting next to you.
I could say that the young man that went back for his jacket
was definitely an angel of sorts.
I tell you another thing that is and you've just reminded me
of something that is really interesting
I think that I went through a period of time
when I was living in the French Pyrenees strangely
enough and I had a tremendous amount
of out-of-body experiences there it's such a
I think it's a home for my soul that part of the world
and I used to go to accident sites
And plane crashes and train crashes and people drowning
and I would be helping them and sometimes I would say
to my husband there's been a train crash and it's I think it's India
and then we would hear it on the news a week later
and I was with people and I was helping them and talking to them.
And there came a time where other things
were happening in my life, and I actually said,
please, I can't do this anymore
because I haven't got the energy to live life as a human.
I'm so exhausted when I wake up from being
on these adventures and missions.
It's like I was sent on missions.
But again, to time and space, I don't understand it.
I don't begin to understand it.
But all I can tell you is I would see things before they happened.
And I would be there helping.
in a scene that would happen a week later or a month later,
but I would always describe it and write it down when I remembered it
to prove to myself that I wasn't going mad.
There seems to be,
there is a great injustice and a lot of people that I know that and the
people that I love are going through.
Really, very, very difficult karmic things where it's absolutely unfair
and out of balance.
But all I can say is that I have to believe
that it is coming back into balance.
You know, it's like the pendulum.
The pendulum of this life has to sometimes go too far
into the darkness in order for it to come back into balance.
And I think we are in the age of darkness, the Kali Yuga, you know.
It's the time where everything that is rotten has to be exposed.
Everything that is broken has to fall.
Every building that is rotten has to be pulled down.
Every lie that we've been told has to be exposed.
You know, there is nowhere to hide anymore
and we're in like a tsunami of information.
To find truth is hard.
You have to search and you have to follow what is within.
And so I think we are all training to be saints.
We all have the potential to be immense,
amazing beings, right here, right now, on this earth.
One act of kindness can change the destiny of a whole,
a knock-on effect, one smile.
One moment where you check yourself and you don't curse somebody,
but you actually give your love to them.
So who are we? We are sparks of the divine. We are.
And it's sleeping. It's sleeping in most people.
But it's there. And your job is to wake it up.
To find it, to wake it up, to take care of it,
to listen to it, to follow its guidance,
and to allow it to blossom in your life and those around you.
To nurture it.
Not going on a course for a weekend to get a certificate
and think that you're qualified to talk about it.
No, just quietly in your own way,
whether you're in a soup kitchen or whether you're the CEO
and sitting on the top of a tower block on your empire,
whether you're a president or whether you're a pauper.
It doesn't make any difference.
That's the point.
I think we are equal in the truest sense within us and all trying
to make the outside equal is a waste of time because you can't.
It's like trying to hold back the sea. You know,
we have our destiny and we should be very grateful to be human.
And not despair, and not be cynical,
and stop being hopeless, because, you know, in our
own quiet way, if you live in a place where it's all concrete,
put a flower on your windowsill,
put a curtain that's pretty,
wear a smile on your face, take care of yourself, take
care of your neighbor.
You know, little actions have massive...
Effects, and I think a lot of people, when you say,
who are we, they're so ambitious to be something big.
And that's all just a path of egoic waste of time.
And also it's just as egoic to try and stay small
and be humble when you don't really feel like that either.
It's an incredible journey to learn how to just be in your skin,
be with what's in front of you,
be with what goes wrong, be with what goes right.
and all the time bring it back to the
Love inside you and say, how do I make that love bigger?
Every day in every way, how do I make that love bigger?
They say one step towards that which is within you,
a thousand steps, the angels and guides can come towards you.
So it's sweet effort and it's worth it.
And we all have a different path.
That's the other thing, is there's no one way.
What my way, I mean, you don't want my way, I'm quite sure.
Not many people would be following
the Judy Chimes path to enlightenment
because it's pretty harsh, you know.
But you can, I'm sure you could be lying on a bed in Marbella,
surrounded by mountains and beautiful flowers.
And you could also have an amazing spiritual experience
and it could change your life.
Or you could be in a hellhole and it's so bad.
That you can cry out and for the first time you will
hear something inside you stirring and waking up.
I took
my book
into a
recording
studio
here
in Spain.
Quite a lot of years ago,
and I was working with the man who is now my partner,
and he was asking me really deep questions,
you know, and he said to me,
did you hear music during your out-of-body or in your dreams?
Did you hear music? And I said, I absolutely did hear music.
And then he put a microphone in front of me
and he asked me questions and said,
sing me the answers. And then he asked me, so who is Veritas?
And Veritas is the name that I gave
because the guide didn't give me a name and said, I have no name.
I don't need a name, so I just used the Latin word veritas
because it seemed to represent all of the truth
that I'd ever wanted to find was in this being.
And I'd heard a voice
also telling me that it was time to follow my highest truth.
...to follow my highest truth, so he's the highest truth
that I'd ever found, or it, or whatever it is.
And so I described Veritas, and I came back,
and some years later, he took all of that information,
and he turned it into music, and he turned...
The Veritas question, who are you, into a song,
but trying to work out what Veritas is,
is a very difficult thing because there is no definition,
but I did my best writing the words to a song.
One of the things that I was shown is that through
the power of music such healing can
take place and it opens people's hearts,
it opens minds, it can be full of fun, it can
be full of compassion,
it can have so many layers to it and rhythm and pace and so we've
worked to bring the message of Veritas into this project.
It's just called Angel and not all angels have wings.
I exist in space between your every thought I am alive
in all that you were never taught. I am the smile
forms on every face.
I'm in the love generated by tender embrace. I am the light
behind the billion eyes.
I am the agony of a trillion secret sighs. I'm in your screams.
I'm in your dreams. I am the one who intervenes. So relax
Stay awake,
you'll be safe,
contemplate,
meditate,
be aware, in a
space of love,
I will be there,
it's the eternal
promise we both
share, there,
my friend,
I will be,
and you will
then be free,
back into me,
beyond the fear,
friend, tall,
tall, meditate,
be, in a space
of love,
I will be there,
it's the eternal
