'This marathon thing is quite fun!' - Almgren wins NY marathon on debut over the distance

Uh, I've probably never felt so emotional after a race ever. Wow. Uh, now when Benson started picking up the pace with 5k left, I just felt like, I've got the legs today. Wow. Uh, so it's just responding to everything. Then, when he came up on 59th Street and I started getting a little gap, I just felt like, okay, I just put in a move now. Yeah. I saw that I got a pretty big gap and then it's just like, okay, Andreas, enjoy this few last hundred meters now because this is nothing a lot of people get to experience. Wow. I mean, you can't ask for a better debut. I don't know what to say, I just feel like I'm about to start crying. No, that's okay, that's through emotion. It's better than anything I could have ever imagined. This marathon thing is quite fun. I think you'll be back. Absolutely. Alright, Andreas, congratulations on a huge day for you. Thank you very much, thank you.
