Chasing Fall Colors at Naches Peak Loop at Mount Rainier

Come along as I hike Naches Peak Loop near Mount Rainier in Washington! This beautiful alpine loop offers incredible mountain views, evergreen forests, colorful fall foliage, and a chance to experience the changing seasons in the Pacific Northwest. We visited in early October, when autumn was putting on a show—but in the mountains, fall can change into winter in a matter of days! We were hiking in warm sunshine and T-shirts, only for snow to arrive shortly after we left. It’s a good reminder of how quickly mountain weather can change this time of year.
