ICELAND | a cinematic travel film

Please read before watching :)
Iceland wasn’t actually supposed to be our destination.
Our original plan was to travel to Nepal. But after our flights were cancelled due to the war in Iran, we suddenly had to come up with a Plan B.
Having already visited Iceland in summer and absolutely loved it, the decision wasn’t too difficult: why not go back?
So in late March and early April this year, we packed our things, rented a camper and set off to explore Iceland all the way around the island.
From volcanic landscapes and snowstorms to waterfalls, glaciers, seals, whales and some pretty intense Northern Lights — this trip definitely had its moments.
You’ll see the rest of the journey in the video.
This was also my first time actually talking in front of a microphone for a video like this. I’m not gonna lie, it was pretty difficult for me at the beginning and I definitely had to get used to it. But I think you can hear the difference towards the end of the video, and I’m really happy with how much more comfortable it started to feel.
A lot of time went into filming, editing and putting this whole thing together — especially while working a full-time job on the side.
So if you’ve made it this far, thank you.
I really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video.
And if you enjoyed it, feel free to leave a like. It really helps! :)
Thanks for watching (and reading) — hope you enjoyed the journey.
