El-Sayed Campaign Linked to Scrutiny Over Mosque Political Activity

Gregg Roman says Michigan Islamist institutions supporting Abdul El-Sayed may have crossed legal lines by engaging in political activity through tax-exempt organizations. He also says his group identified 928 statements across 36 institutions, including rhetoric targeting Jews and Americans. “They call America the enemy.” He says nine of those institutions received roughly $45 million in taxpayer funding.
