Skoda Driving Experience - Presented by Dr. Johannes Neft

Hello to everybody. My name is Johannes Neft and I'm responsible for technical development at ŠKODA. In the past few years a lot of my work was involved with the development of these very two important cars for our brand. The ŠKODA Peak and the ŠKODA Epic. The two cars are very different but they share the same ambition. Both represent the next chapter in ŠKODA's electric future. Both also reflect countless hours of work, dedication and passion from our development teams. From the very first sketches and technical concepts to the final validation vehicles, we worked on every detail with one clear goal to create cars that customers will enjoy every day. As engineers, we spend many months discussing solutions, testing ideas and improving details that most people will never see. That's exactly why moments like this are so special. After years of development, we can finally share these cars with you. For me, the Peak is much more than a new flagship model. It brings together everything we have learned in recent years about electric mobility, comfort, space and technology. I'm equally proud of the EPIC. It brings the same values to a completely different segment and opens up electric mobility to even more customers. Unfortunately, I cannot join you in person today, but I would like to thank you for being here and for taking time to experience these important new additions to our model range. I hope you enjoy every kilometer behind the wheel.
