NEW Starship Military is INSANE!
How SpaceX revived 1950s plans into Starship for the USAF
Why the Pentagon Wants Its Own SpaceX Starship
A rocket that can land anywhere on Earth within 45 minutes. A rocket that can rapidly launch hundreds of tons of military cargo into space. It sounds like nothing could possibly do all that.
But the U.S. military, working alongside SpaceX, is developing something with truly TERRIFYING capabilities: Starship Military.
What will Starship Military look like?
And why are some people still skeptical about this project?

We have to understand that SpaceX is already the dominant force in the rocket industry and has become indispensable to the military. It has outperformed its competitors, accounting for 85% of all U.S. rocket launches in 2025.
And that was with Falcon 9 alone. So, imagine what Starship could achieve and how much greater the overall impact could be once it enters service.
Although many military officials argue that Starship was not originally designed to accommodate military satellites, SpaceX is a technology company that continuously innovates and improves its products. Adjusting Starship’s payload bay to meet military requirements is entirely possible.
Of course, some leaders within the U.S. Space Force still have a strong preference for Falcon 9. Nevertheless, Starship offers a unique combination of capabilities that no competitor can match, making it a system well worth considering for the military and government to take a chance on.
Starship is quite unlike any rocket that has come before it. When operational, its size, payload capacity, and ability to land and fly again, as well as the number of vehicles that will be constructed, will eclipse anything built over the past 70 years of spaceflight.
