English Literature - Group 6 - Shift 1 - Final Project

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë - a student film adaptation by Group 6, Shift 1, from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE).

Our adaptation of Wuthering Heights, inspired by the classic novel by Emily Brontë, reimagines the original story in a modern setting while exploring the themes of kindness, revenge, love, and personal transformation. Through our own interpretation of the characters and their relationships, we aim to present a fresh perspective on the timeless message of the novel and reflect on how kindness can influence the choices we make and the people we become.

Through this story, we invite viewers to reflect on empathy and forgiveness. When pain is passed from one person to another, can kindness help break the cycle? Our project joins #BeKindBeCool with a message: how we treat others matters, especially when understanding them is difficult.
