'Since I am here, we've never practised penalties' - Maresca

No, because I was happy with the way we planned the game, with the rotation, and especially I was very, very, very happy with the ones that they were playing inside the pitch. Yeah, they are in a brilliant moment, they are winning games, they are scoring goals, they are scoring many goals every game, three, four, five goals per game, so we knew that it was a tough game in terms of also defending in the right way. I think, again, we could have probably done something better in terms of defensively. But again, we started just three months ago, so we have many things that we can do better. But again, the game was chaotic but I think overall we controlled quite well. Are you expecting exactly the same on Saturday? No doubt. I watched all the seven Premier League games since we started and since the The first day, Arsenal, Palace, Liverpool, the last one, they always go front foot, you say, man-to-man. So they're going to be excited, the same on Saturday. To be honest, since I'm here, we never practice penalty. But also we had, you know, the five that they shot, they are all Phil, Ryan, Enzo, Jeremy, even Matteo. But most of the time, always happen. The one that scored during the 90 minutes, and then they missed the penalty. So it's happened. Is he putting pressure on Gigio's position? No, absolutely not from my point of view. He's working well, but he knows exactly his role. There is not any doubt about it. Even with Gigio's recent sketchy form? Absolutely no doubt.
