While the day starts with some localized fog and sunshine, a cold front will bring scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms late tonight. The weather will remain mild and mostly clear through the weekend, with only minor precipitation expected for Halloween.
Morning up in Sheboygan.
It's not too bad on this DOT camera up there along 43,
but there are a few pockets where it's pretty thick in North Ozaukee,
even a little bit Washington and certainly into Sheboygan County.
Visibility at the county airport, which is a little farther
to the west actually than the 43 corridor there.
That's at about quarter mile and a little bit of fog down at Burlington.
Very isolated though, looks great as we check
in with our Kenosha cam this hour at upper levels.
Nice and clear tons of sun on the way when it finally rises.
Now, we've got a steady, although very light,
breeze from the south going right now.
We're in behind that warm front to the north.
Temperatures will be well above average today, mid-upper 50s.
That's a typical high for late October.
We're likely to touch the low 70s today and behind that warm front.
But a cold front is coming, and that will bring things down a little.
Even behind it, though, it's still above average.
So let's go look ahead with Sky Vision Plus.
Now, short term, lots of sun.
Steady southwest breeze.
picks up a little bit throughout the midday
and into the afternoon gets a bit breezier as the
front approaches but we stay dry up through maybe nine ten o'clock
then as we get closer to midnight
our chance of showers starts to pop up a little bit
this will be widely scattered but there will
be showers once we get past that 10 or 11 o'clock hour
so depending how late the game goes some of
the watch parties might be impacted by that we may
also see a few isolated thunderstorms with that
But again, very isolated. Most folks won't see it. Some might.
Then it all clears out by 8 o'clock tomorrow or Thursday morning.
And then we continue to clear up as we go through Thursday afternoon
and we stay calm on into Thursday night.
We won't see a lot of rain from these showers.
I think about a tenth of an inch,
maybe an eighth of an inch worth of rain or so.
It's not going to be a major event here,
but you might need to prepare for it if things go into extra innings.
I don't know if I can stay up that late.
Please for us just get it done in nine.
All right.
The big picture does show that line of showers
and storms again coming through.
There it goes right there.
And then a nice stretch here through the rest of Thursday
on through Thursday night and a good chunk of Friday.
But watch what happens here Friday night.
Chance of showers rolling in and then another chance
of showers as we go into our Halloween day on Saturday.
But it never really gets too fired up.
So I think the trick-or-treaters will do all right.
Next chance of a more widespread significant soaking might
not even get here until closer to Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
There's that system finally kind of filling in.
In the meantime, it's all just kind
of more like nuisance-type precipitation.
So our Fox 6 Day Planner, pretty mild, no nuisance there.
Sunshine and 72 during the day, showers tonight
and early tomorrow morning, 70 for the high on Thursday.
Then low 60s, still above average Friday,
Saturday, back to mid-60s Sunday and Monday.
