Henry's Law is going into effect. His mom isn't done fighting
Oct 28, 2026
Henry was my role model.
I always thought you need to be a better mother.
You need to be worthy of this wonderful child.
I know that if Henry would have had a carbon
monoxide alarm in our unit,
or if they were stalled even on the fourth floor,
he would be alive today. He wouldn't have died.
We went through what parents fear the most,
and that's losing a child
and I know that people out there can't even fathom
can't imagine what it would be like
to lose one of their own children and we're
telling people it's that bad but worse
and we want to implore families to have
these safety talks to install
that carbon monoxide alarm our children are
the most precious thing that we have in our life
and a carbon monoxide alarm
should be installed in every room that a child sleeps.
The education of what a
carbon monoxide looks and sounds like is very important.
You have to sit your
children down,
let them hear the sound and practice and you have to be able to
to recognize that danger and not ignore it.
Right now, if he could see us, he would say,
yeah, mom, you go, and he'd fist bump me.
