'Nobody came in hanging their head' - Rays recall mentality heading into magical 12th inning

Yeah, a lot. It says a lot about them. I feel like they've shown that throughout the course of the season. Maybe not in this actual World Series to date, but we can start showing a lot more moving forward. Innings like that can create a lot of momentum for a team. That's a really good team, and I'm glad we had some things go our way. we've had some things not go our way we haven't made the most of some opportunities but tonight it seemed like going down 3-2 right there in the 12th or whatever it was that nobody came in hanging their heads it was just about how do we get one across and then how do we get the second one across I think so, it worked so let's continue that but you can't get too far ahead of yourselves, I want them to enjoy tonight for sure, it was a long day at the ballpark, a lot of excitement, they're gonna enjoy it but they're gonna come back focused to do everything they can to put some at-bats against a really good pitcher in Misiorowski. Yeah, it's a huge spot, and, you know, it's what you dream of as a player, to be in that spot and to be able to contribute and help your team. And, obviously, the energy in the stadium was pretty special. So, yeah, just a cool moment. Well, congratulations. I just wanted to ask you, how do you capitalize in terms of momentum to make this key win into the confidence of facing Misiorowski tomorrow? Yeah, we love the challenge. We're ready for it, and we love the spot we're in, like I said before. So to get this win tonight and have the momentum on our sides right now, we're going to keep it going in tomorrow. Yeah, I mean, it's what you dream of growing up. You know, you play wiffle ball in the backyard with your friends, and you're dreaming of hitting a walk-off in the World Series. And, I mean, to fight like the way the team fought tonight to get me into that situation and to get runners on and just to have that moment for me was huge for me.
