New Dawn Climbing Rose | Plant Highlight 2020 (Illinois Zone 5 Garden Tour)

This is a video highlighting our beautiful climbing rose, New Dawn (Alternate Name: Everblooming Dr. W. Van Fleet). This rose is vigorous, moderately fragrant, and floriferous. We acquired this rose as a 1 gal. plant in Spring 2018 from Heirloom Roses. It has grown quite a bit since and has survived our harsh winters rather easily. It is about 4' tall near the base but several canes have climbed over the top of our patio (at least 10' tall). It is also very wide. We've trained the canes to be around 45 degrees to promote more blooms and it seemed to work.
