Saleh Jewelers opens eighth location in Springfield

A new small business has made its way to Springfield right in time for the holidays. 22 News reporter Gabriella Villas-Boas joins us live in the studio with more about the fine jewelry establishment. Thank you, Ciara and Claire. Springfield is welcoming a new fine jewelry small business, Soleil Jewelers, just before the holiday season. The family-owned business tells us they are very happy to open their doors to the Springfield community. Local and state officials joined the owner of Soleil Jewelers before a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate their grand opening today in Springfield. This is the family's eighth business. The owner tells us that buying jewelry is a personal experience and shopping in person is very different from those who may shop online. He's excited to connect with the people of Springfield and bring them pieces designed as if they were his own. We create and we make our fine jewelry and diamonds as if we're actually making it for ourselves. We want it to be very different, very unique, and very beautiful. Soleil Jewelers opened on Sumner Avenue in the same place where Smith & Son Jewelers was once located. The owner says he wants his family to continue the success story of his friends at Smith & Son Jewelers.
