I just crossed the longest
monkey bar rig ever built.
I just completed one of my biggest dreams
and missions for the last two years,
building up to this day.
All the tape on the fingers
are ripped through,
but the hands that I expected to roll up and rip was surprisingly okay.
I think this saved me.
This was brand new when I started and it's pretty wrecked now,
but I expected them to look worse.
At least I can close them again now.
Yeah, they hurt.
simulated and trained as much we could
but nothing can really compare to just the continuous beating
that that incline puts on the same muscle group
so by the time I got to the point where I thought
I'd be able to kind of swing confidently I was really
so tired that I was just staying trying
to stay on the bars that was the main mission just stay
on the bars small pieces at a time
I was more tired than I expected to be going into that middle segment
and I found it really
difficult to get any rhythm the hands just didn't
do what I in my mind thought they would be able to
just keeping them closed was so hard
so the middle section to me was the toughest I mean the last 20
meters the voice in my head
was just like make sure make sure make sure make sure every single
bar I was so afraid that I would have a slip of hand
or a glitch or something bumping and I'd miss
bar and i dropped like 20 meters before the end
so super focused in that last piece because my
body was wrecked it
was so much tougher than i personally thought it was going to be
in my head i thought the end would be smoother but it was so hard
