Before the first dynasties rose, before history was written, the ancient world was shaped by goddesses — mothers of creation, guardians of heaven and earth, keepers of the sun and moon, and spirits of rivers, mountains and seas.

🌸 *The Ten Goddesses*

女媧 Nüwa — The Mother of Creation, who mended the heavens with five-coloured stones.

西王母 Queen Mother of the West — The sovereign guardian of sacred Mount Kunlun.

后土 Houtu — The Earth Mother, who nurtures all living things.

羲和 Xihe — The Sun Goddess, who guides the solar chariot across the heavens.

常羲 Changxi — The Moon Goddess, mother of twelve moons.

嫘祖 Leizu — The Silk Goddess, who brought sericulture and silk-making to humankind.

女魃 Nüba — The Drought Goddess, whose divine power led to a lonely exile.

精衛 Jingwei — The little bird who vowed to fill the boundless sea.

嫦娥 Chang'e — The Moon Palace Goddess, dwelling in eternal solitude.

洛神 Luoshen — The graceful Goddess of the Luo River.

常羲 — 生育十二月，與月亮盈虧及時序相連的月神。

嫘祖 — 教民養蠶繅絲，開創華夏絲綢文明的先祖。

女魃 — 曾助黃帝止雨，卻因無法歸天而流落荒原的旱神。

精衛 — 化鳥銜木石，誓將滄海填平的不屈之靈。

嫦娥 — 飛昇月宮，獨守廣寒清輝的月中仙子。

洛神 — 凌波微步，飄然若仙的洛水女神。

Nüwa melted five-coloured stones to mend the broken sky. The Queen Mother of the West watched over sacred Kunlun, while Houtu nurtured all living things upon the earth. Xihe guided the sun across the heavens, and Changxi gave birth to twelve moons.

Leizu taught humanity the art of silk, bringing the first threads of civilization. Jingwei, transformed into a small bird, carried stones and twigs to fill the endless sea. Chang'e dwelt in the lonely Moon Palace, while the Goddess of the Luo River danced upon its shimmering waters.

And far beyond the mountains, Nüba — the Drought Goddess who once helped end a devastating storm — wandered the desolate lands, unable to return to heaven.

Ten goddesses. Ten ancient legends. One world woven from creation, sacrifice, longing and eternity.

An original epic Chinese instrumental journey in four chapters — guzheng, konghou, guqin, pipa, erhu, bronze bells and deep drums — accompanied by cinematic visuals, bringing the goddesses of ancient Chinese mythology to life.
