We Found a Motionless Sea Turtle on a Mexican Beach
A giant sea turtle rescue unfolded on a remote beach in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, after four friends discovered an exhausted sea turtle trapped between rocks and unable to reach the ocean. At first, they weren’t even sure the turtle was still alive.
The stranded sea turtle had been out of the water for a long time and was too weak to free herself. With no cell signal and no immediate help available, the group worked together to carefully move the massive turtle toward the sea.
The rescue wasn’t easy. Because of her size and poor condition, they had to move her little by little, stopping along the way so she could rest. As waves began reaching her, the turtle slowly started showing more signs of life and renewed strength.
But even after making it back into the water, she still had to get past the rocks.
The friends followed her into the ocean, staying close until they could see that she was able to swim safely on her own.
After around 15 to 20 minutes, the exhausted sea turtle was finally swimming freely again.

I don’t understand how anyone would NOT help this turtle. Unfortunately there are many people in this modern world that would attack it and kill it for fun. People of compassion found it , thankfully.

Love how they were able to rescue the turtle we can all help protect turtles too by protecting their habitat !Turtles face dangers from trash, traffic, chemicals, and even warming waters. We can all pitch in by picking up litter, helping turtles cross roads safely, reducing lawn chemicals, protecting nests, and properly disposing of fishing line.
If you find an injured turtle, contact wildlife rehab. Small actions add up — one minute of kindness can save a turtle’s life.
