Victoria Stagni Painter Argentina 1973

Argentina 1973
Victoria Stagni is an experienced artist based in France, born in Buenos Aires to an Argentine mother and a Paraguayan father. Influenced by great Latin American authors such as Gabriela García Márquez and Alejo Carpentier, she draws inspiration from magical realism to create works in which human beings are placed amidst fantastical natural landscapes. The world she depicts is primal, sometimes friendly, sometimes threatening, and always a powerful representation of the crucial connections between people, animals, and nature. Stagni has exhibited her work in France and Cuba, as well as in the United States and Australia.
