What time is it?
We got nobody on here yet.
Yeah, well, not terribly.
Well, we got Big Tank Hank is here,
and Zachary, and Fisher and Fever.
So we're all here.
Bare Bottom Aquarium. Hi, guys.
Bare Bottom Aquariums.
Oh, we need to talk.
Holly Gibbs, Sandy, Fish Dreams.
All right, we got a gang.
Here we are. We are at Bio Aquatics.
And this is Andre and his son, Andre's,
Ryan, who owns Bio Aquatics, and his son.
Hi guys, how are you?
And they just got boxes in, because they're shipping, because he ships.
He's a busy, busy bee.
Look at this.
I'm going to walk over to the,
I need to get pictures of breeding tanks,
because we're doing this video is called take
the next step the next step being great take the next
step enough wi-fi there i think i'm okay
so far i'm getting feedback so i guess it's there
live yeah i'm live yeah you bet only
do live that's i'm gonna
walk over looks great so you
got the i really like these little boxes they're
so expensive though they fit the priority do they
I didn't think so. I was doing the priority with peanuts
That's a little pricey two bucks, I guess it's not too bad
Yeah, but you got to put them in a box. Is that with the cardboard?
Well, that ain't bad. All right, we're gonna go
This is Frank Gil. I met Frank.
We're gonna go. I'm stepping on the trash can
Alright, here is here's the farm. Here's here's the farm
I don't I don't know how to do this.
I have to walk backwards.
I guess I'm not gonna walk backwards
What I would like to do is reverse the picture
so I can read text. Let me see if I can do that
Ain't real slick with this stuff.
Let's try this, that didn't do anything
Yes. Oh, there we go
Turn that off there. Okay now I can sort of read text
Chevy Fish is here, and Zachary,
ignoring me again, James, hi,
all right, here's the farm.
Let's go in the Quonset hut first. What I want
to show you today is a very simple, very basic,
very successful breeding operation.
Andres has been, he has a master's degree in aquaculture,
and he determined that what he wanted to do is spend
his life breeding fish and he's bred about
everything he researches extensively
then tries to create an environment that will be suitable
for the animal and the primary
his primary focus is water the water quality
and here we go the vats
And each of these, they're not labeled,
so we're going to have to see what we can see.
We can catch them here.
Synodontis, you can kind of see him scooting around on the bottom.
He has about 30 of these vats here.
Those guys just darted into the pot.
Don't know what they are.
Some kind of African, I think.
We're not going to see them there.
Whoops, coming out.
It looks like a, it looks like a Tanganyika,
some kind of Tanganyika.
It's in probably 400 gallons or so.
Oh, oh yeah,
more of the same.
I have lost my,
my, um, chat.
Where did the chat go?
There it is.
Oh, ----.
There we go.
Everybody's saying hello.
So the fish needs the vats.
Well, they are available.
We can do vats.
I think I sold him, or brokered,
about half of these vats
from a shrimp farm.
So you can see what the idea is here.
Large volume of water, pretty protected.
He's got continuous and pretty substantial water change going on.
We'll try to get to his main source of water
so we can get a picture of that.
These are more Synodontis,
it looks like, in here.
He's using a floating tray to prevent
the water from getting a jet flow.
Although some, it doesn't seem to matter.
I'm not going to look in every one
of these because there's not a lot to see.
There's some plants growing in this one.
It's getting a little bit of sunlight.
He has shade cloth over his quonset to cut it down.
now up top here are uh he's got a lot
of Hygrophila growing looks like these in all these
tanks so that's something new that he's trying
that's kind of cool with shrimp let's see some
blue don't know what that plant
is looks nice though there's
some corkscrew looks like the
that's sword so that's kind of interesting he's doing plants it
was the first i've seen him doing
doing plants i want to get
down here and check out
the water oh dear chris
listen child of god
um you are forgiven before you sin so forgot
my name is unexpected troll bare bottom
that's all right we'll talk bare bottom bio
aquatics don't get gills yes that's correct
uh fish dreams tap water with dechlorinated
healthy yeah it's fine uh he's got a well here
this is all well water
and it's coming up i don't know where his main vat is this looks like
this is probably it because he's got a top off on it
so this is his main source of um
of water that he's feeding everything there's i
don't know where it's coming out there's filtration
over there. I'll just get around and look at this stuff.
I keep losing the chat.
I think I've seen
this facility before.
Yeah, Aquarium Co-op was here
a year or so ago and did kind of a
walkthrough. I wanted to do a more in-depth showing
how he breeds fish. And this is just
so far we're seeing a very small part of
the operation.
We're going to get into more of it here shortly.
These are red, what are
they called? Red convicts, flame convicts, something
pretty fish, pretty, pretty fish. We've got a bunch
of these in the shop.
Andres and I have a, we do a lot of trade. I give him a lot of
tanks. These are angels. He's got lots and lots of angels.
I don't know if you can see
him very well. Full of angels.
And there are half
a half a dozen vats here filled with angels.
Let's see if we can get past
the glare. Can't get past the glare.
Loaches. Yes, he does
find loaches.
There's a female full of eggs.
Let's see what we're seeing here.
Uh-oh. Only
my two quarantine tanks and one breeding tank are bare bottomed.
That's usually a good choice.
It's a lot easier to keep baby tanks clean with a bare bottom.
Oh,
look
at
these.
Can you see them?
He's got big breeders in here.
I've got to get
some of these.
Wow, nice.
More angels.
These look like they're blues.
Young blue angels.
This is baby something.
Convicts, I guess.
Red convict.
on to another building.
He's sitting on about five acres here that borders State
Park, so he's not in any danger of anything.
This is the neighbor's property. He does
long-distance trucking
and other stuff.
There's a house in back of him, and this
This is the main building,
it's got a couple of ponds in the back, but it doesn't raise
fish in the ponds, just plants,
and they're really only kind of bunch plants, guppy grass
type plants.
These, oh that's interesting,
I didn't see those nuts before, all of those tanks you see
out there, tanks that he got from me in the 40s,
I ought to get them back, they're so
nice.
40s and i sold them all now i wish i had
a few typical here's some plants he's brought in
in buckets growing out in buckets i guess they
look nice don't they it's parrot's feather these
are uh ludwigia that's a pretty one look
at that very nice more parrot's feather tadpoles
okay going inside i'll be able to create our little packers
and pythons just saying well
it's gone crazy. I'm at about, I'm averaging 100 subs a day right now.
This has been going on for
since the 27th, so a little more than two weeks,
but it started to scale in London.
I don't know what's going to happen.
It's a glorious ride.
Okay, so it looks like I've got
caught up talking about different formats, YouTube formats.
Appreciate comments. Be wary about
plans with goldfish at this point
somebody calling for me
so i should be best because um
the building is a metal roof building
so i'm not gonna be able to go in there that's a shame
that's where he's bringing all
of his tagajikas boo let's see let's go down here maybe we can
maybe we can see something
Am I still here? Yeah, you
are, and I am too. I'll get
to the bottom
You sent Adonis
eight-year-news.
That seems unlikely.
Worky, worky, who's that?
I can't tell. I can't read.
It's too dark.
Somebody trolling.
Or somebody saying something.
That town was from a really old style dollop.
It's more like a bell.
Weird. Da-da-da-da.
All right, let's see what we got here.
These are all tanks.
He's constantly redoing his fish room.
So this is his tank stock, a lot of which he got from me,
but like those he did not.
I'm not familiar.
They look like they came off of a farm.
They're very, very etched, which is a good sign they sat on a farm.
Nice tanks, though.
They're about a 20.
They're four foot, three,
four foot, maybe 24, 30 inches.
Really interesting tank.
These he got for me.
These are all 40s, which I'm in love with.
I need to get some of them back.
Oh, I wonder where these came from.
These came off of a farm and are a really interesting system.
They're drilled in the bottom with a standpipe.
So the farmer goes down the row, pulls all the pipes out.
They drain completely to the bottom,
puts the pipes back in, and turns the water back on.
And they keep going.
so he does 100% water change
with minimum effort let's see what's in here this is all
under construction obviously wow look
at these guys oh he got that for me got two of these
they're neat tanks i like these guys they're uh
400s eight foot by four foot there are two of
them here he hasn't set them up yet a couple
of vats thanks he's obviously starting to do
something in here it'll probably
be a summer project it's pretty hot it's probably up in the
90s so stuff stuff i wish we
could go in the room there
but we lose signal
that's a shame well i'll
tell you what we can do i have not looked at his pond
so we'll walk around back and look at the
ponds well this is pretty what is that i don't know what
that is that's pretty neat it's a floating
look at that I gotta get me some
of that I'm getting the shadow here
so I can read the text
a bit see what you guys
are talking about flat tanks would
be good something shelly tanks yes
that's about what he's doing he does have shellies he's got about five
or six species that he's
trying to get going redwood red root plant
that's nice the red root floater what is that
Red Root Floater. Yeah, it's cool. I'm going to get a handful of it.
Thank you. You going to the post office? Yeah, FedEx.
I'm going to be cutting out
of here pretty quick. I will.
Yeah, in fact, I'll go on there and refer this over
because we're doing a one-hour live. It'll be about
I don't know how many, 40 or so. Yeah. How many people are on?
I can't read it. I'll be back shortly. Okay.
