How to make Strawberry & Caramel Waffle Cake | Berry Waffle Cake Recipe

Welcome, Milo says hi. would be really grateful let's get started so I have my caramel in a bowl you can use store-bought or homemade I've got my waffle layers and I'm also gonna use strawberry jam or conserve and I'm also gonna use blackcurrant conserve so feel free to use any jams that you actually like because this cake works either way I do think this is a very easy cake to whip up if you have guests coming and as it requires no baking and literally just you assembling the cake but you can make it extra special and super pretty so i'm adding my first layer as a caramel and then i'm adding my second layer as a caramel as well because i want to make it mainly caramel cake we're going to use few layers of our jam and my next one is my strawberry jam so generously spread around about two tablespoons on each wafer and then just kind of carry on with your cake building you want to just make sure that every cake layer is soaked through with caramel and jam and don't be greedy here you want to put a lot of filling inside so people really feel when it soaks through that crunch and the flavor that comes together i really love this cake it's so fresh it reminds me of my childhood I'm not sure if it's a combination of the caramel and fruit but it really is absolutely delicious and super crunchy and yeah if you do use any other jams do let me know what flavors you use then what works do leave the comments down below we're just going to go around with all my layers I'm using around 10 to 12 layers here so feel free to use more or less it completely depends on what wafers you can find in your local stores and like I said these can be found in any Eastern European Russian Polish Lithuanian Ukrainian stores you're not going to be able to find these probably in the standard shops as these are quite Russian guys and girls I have my recipe on my website at alice yummy food.com you'll find full ingredients and also directions on how to make this and also you'll be able to find loads of other recipes that i do for my channel and just click through click on the picture and you'll be able to see the whole video with the directions and the full recipe in english and russian languages and now we're going to make our cream that goes on top in a bowl add your cream cheese and then add icing sugar and we're Then we're going to whisk this for about a few minutes until the mixture becomes nice and smooth and the cream cheese should be at a room temperature. Then you want to slowly add your double or heavy cream at a very very slow pace, sort of tipping it down, mixing at a quite medium speed while your mixture is incorporated. You don't want to over whisk the cream, it should be nice and smooth. you want to add your vanilla extract and mix everything one more time and then the cream is done. Your frosting is ready and you can set this aside. Now I'm using this frosting to decorate this beautiful cake because I do think it adds extra flavor and the color and makes it kind of a surprise like what is inside this cake and I'll be decorating it with fresh fruit too. Once you frost the cake you want to put this into a fridge or leave it at a room temperature for a few hours and then decorate with more cream. I've set aside the cream that we made and used pink food coloring and now I've got like these pink little bows as well. Decorating it with more fresh strawberries and blackberries kind of using the jams that I had inside and some also raspberries and I did want to make this cake very very colorful and added some icing sugar and a little cute bow and I think it looks fantastic so yeah guys this is how it looks at the end we're gonna cut inside just to show you how it looks and it's amazing you've got these crunchy layers that have soaked through but still remains at their crunch you've got the strawberry you've got the blackberry and you've got the caramel as well with the delicious frosting on top I love this cake I really hope you try this thank you so much for watching
