Wozzy Dias's Pictures of You: Views of the Underground, 1980–1990 was published by the London Transport Museum in 1991 and presents a decade long photographic study of London's Underground network. Working primarily with a Leica camera, Dias travelled extensively across the system between 1980 and 1990, documenting passengers, station architecture and the fleeting encounters that define everyday urban travel. Rather than photographing the Underground as a transport network alone, he approached it as a public stage where people from different backgrounds briefly occupy the same confined space, creating an extensive visual record of London during a period of significant social and cultural change.

Dias's photographs rely on observation rather than intervention, capturing moments of humour, isolation, intimacy and routine without directing his subjects. The work explores the rhythms of daily commuting while recording the diversity of the capital through its shared public spaces. Reflections, movement, architectural forms and chance juxtapositions recur throughout the series, demonstrating Dias's commitment to photographing the decisive moments that unfold within the Underground environment. Pictures of You remains an important documentary record of London's transport system during the 1980s and reflects the enduring role of the Underground as both an engineering achievement and a microcosm of the city's social life.
