Cortes: “we Have Every Right” to Question Who Comes Into America

Steve Cortes argues the debate surrounding Abdul El-Sayed is bigger than one candidate — saying Americans should be willing to scrutinize political Islam as an ideology and political movement. “There is nothing bigoted about taking a rational look at a worldview.” Cortes says the key question is whether that worldview is compatible with the American way of life and Western civilization. “Is your agenda compatible with the American way of life?” He points to Dearborn, Minneapolis, and Europe as warning signs, while Steve Bannon argues the Muslim Brotherhood represents a broader political project rather than simply a matter of private faith. Cortes’ message: “We’re not going to be intimidated any longer.”
