DragonForce - Black Winter Night | Reaction

Hey guys, it's Mads Patti. How are you? Guess who made it on the list? Herman Lee, Dragon Force. Super excited. I've been following him for a while and yes, my son did tell me about him. But let's do some housekeeping. New bass guitar which I have started playing. I'm not used to it yet and it's a Paul Reed Smith. I have to remember that because it's such a simple name that my my brain's like what brand is this again like I said the frets they're a little wider for me and I'm not used to playing that yet this week we will be announcing who are the winners of the giveaway so look out for that let's see oh one of the things that I am doing with my bass teacher is i'm actually reading notes and i read notes before like years ago um but it's like a refresher for me so um it's easy because i can memorize it it's hard to play when you break it down and the tempo is between uh 70 and 80 i guess it's really hard to play different measure when it's that slow so i'm excited about that i yes i can play a full song about you know 24 measures but it's slow. I've just given up on speed. You know, like everybody says, you know, speed will eventually come. But I'm excited because, like I said, long ago, I used to, you know, like sing and play the piano. So I know how to read notes is just, you know, getting a refresher course. But playing, you know, the bass and reading and putting everything together, that's like the hard part and i got a question for y'all and in all the bass players out there i cannot do the you know the rake forget it i have to practice and i just can't do it so hopefully if somebody can give me a tip on that that'd be helpful um one of the things i'm learning is like my first position second position and third position on the bass which is wonderful because um this um you know book has uh have taught me a lot so I'm super excited about that all right done with me all right let's do Dragon Force this is Black Winter Night look like it's live and if y'all don't know who uh Dragon Force or Herman Li is where have y'all been you know um he's super talented and I was reading on this I have to find a video where you know Dragon Force and uh Nightwish share like the same stage now maybe my um production you know division can you know find that video and i can react to that so let's check this out guys here we go amazing herman lee let's talk about him because you know i am i follow him and i'm how can i say that boy can play he can freaking play his fingers were moving so fast um i'm gonna have to slow that down oh my was he licking the guitar or was he playing the car guitar what y'all need to tell me what did i miss i'm gonna have to replay that oh my god super talented like i said i follow him on social media and of course i did the reaction when they were um when he was you know auditioning for um bandmate telling you that boy can play i like like like him a lot oh my gosh amazing i know i wish i could play like that but i guess i am gonna have to stick to like 60 or 70 um you know um beats per minute oh my god that's horrible well for me i guess it's good but for him i think he's playing like 285 or even faster phenomenal right all right guys do me a favor if you like this video hit the like hit the sub and don't forget to hit the bell down below is our cozy cup club don't forget to join and yes i will be putting that him him and DragonForce on Spotify sorry about that my asthma is just horrible today do me a favor leave me a comment what do you think of him what do you think of you know DragonForce what do you think of Herman Li and all the other um you know guitarists let me know other than that guys i'll see you next time
