Video Summary
AI GeneratedA tropical disturbance is forming south of the Yucatan Peninsula unusually early in the season. While there is currently only a 10% chance of formation over the next few days, the speaker warns that warm waters and potential shifts in the Earth's axial tilt could lead to a severe and unpredictable 2026 hurricane season, with the storm potentially moving into the Gulf of Mexico.
James Kaufman,
Women's Report Today.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a tropical disturbance
already forming south of the Yucatan Peninsula.
Now, these are usually forming late in the season.
Most tropical storms that form in this area form late in the season.
The earlier storms regularly come off the African coast.
This looks like it could very well jump over
and be into the Gulf of America, Gulf of Mexico, whichever you prefer.
There's a slight chance of formation here.
We've had two tropical lows in the Pacific already,
and we have very warm waters.
We also have what I believe
to be a 32% tilt on the globe instead
of a 23% tilt as we did, well, 10 years ago.
So I think we're dealing with a whole new situation.
We have to see what occurs.
But regularly, when you see tropical disturbances form in this area,
it's later in the season, not early, early,
early in the season like we are now.
They're usually coming off the African coast.
Again, this one has a great chance of jumping over
to the Gulf of Mexico, Gulf of America.
And it'll be, well, no fun for anyone.
No telling what's going to happen.
We have no real cool or cold fronts coming through, so it could turn up
and hit one of the, well, Gulf Coast states in the U.S.
That said, it only has a 10% chance of formation
the next couple of days, but we'll keep a close eye on it.
We're all of a sudden in, well, hurricane season,
2026, and this is going to be a year to remember.
Trust me on this.
I have a feeling, and my feelings are regularly correct,
this is going to be a really gnarly, gnarly hurricane season.
Please give us a thumbs up, guys, for reporting first,
and please share our videos, subscribe if you haven't,
and always remember that anything's possible in Bizarro World.
