His Son Had Never Heard Him Sing…He Made Sure the Whole World Did Instead

Jeff Gutt walked onto the X Factor USA stage in 2012 and delivered one of the most breathtaking auditions in the show's history. Simon called it one of the most brilliant auditions he had ever heard. Then bootcamp arrived. Season 1 cut him. Most people would have walked away and never looked back. Jeff Gutt came back for Season 2. And from the moment he walked onto that stage again he made sure every single person who had cut him in Season 1 understood exactly how wrong that decision was. Every single performance. Every single week. Until the very last night.
