Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe Boost Mobile qualifying session took place under threatening weather conditions. While it remained dry, some dampness in the early turns caused issues for several drivers. Anton De Pasquale secured the top spot, while most finals contenders advanced, despite a significant crash for Cooper Murray and a pending impeding investigation for a Triple Eight car.
Valvoline Highlights
and it is Boost Mobile qualifying today under heavy thick grey clouds,
looming weather. Thankfully it stayed dry throughout
and multiple chances to throw some
Dunlop Super Soft tyres in these cars.
There's been a little bit of water down in turns one,
two and three and that was catching a couple
of drivers out including Chas Mostert on that
occasion. Chas he did get through to the top five.
Eight out of our ten finals contenders have made
it through although one of them's with something
of a question mark. Car Triple Eight is being
investigated for impeding and is currently under
investigation we'll try and bring you up to speed
with what was going on there Aaron Cameron
in the thick of things today going through turns one two
and three and the crew including Stephen Richards watching on so Mostert
and Wood both the Toyotas
are through although Andre Heimgartner
was the quickest of the Toyota runners getting his way
through the tyre barriers
and bundles have been a big talking point today we saw that in effect
going through the beach chicane drone vision has
been spectacular to watch too so unsure exactly
what's happened with car Triple Eight
but being investigated at the moment for impeding somebody's
run in that qualifying session surely that'll
be a developing story he was off down the road
at one point including himself
and Aaron Cameron, the biggest moment happened to Cooper Murray, his
new home at Premiere, a fair old whack
on the wall, he would take no further part in the session, he's
going to start 20th tomorrow
and the damage quite visible to see at the conclusion of that session
Matt Payne was complaining about being unhappy
with a multiple few things that he was feeling
inside that race car but managed to make it through
so did Anton De Pasquale, top of the pops
and behind him Kostecki misses out
so too does Jack LeBrocq, but our other eight finalists have
all gone through and they're all chasing Anton
De Pasquale, would that be something of a story
