A lot of people have told me they think this is a waste of supplies and paint. To help cut down on my waste, I have been letting the leftover paint dry and I have been saving the skins for other art projects! I am using frames from Michaels and a dollar store, magnetic frames purchased online, and ornament frames from Michaels. Since the skins are very thin, I glued them onto watercolor paper for a sturdier background. I sprayed each one with an acrylic gloss to help bring out the colors and then framed each piece! They turned out really nicely and with the variety of sizes and colors I think they will make some great gifts. I will continue to save my leftover paint skins and create more beautiful pieces of wall art with them!
