Hey guys, it's myself. How are you?
We're back on See You on Wednesday.
We have
Olfa Nabila. She's going to be covering Overjoy by Stevie Wonder.
If you don't know who Stevie
Wonder is, he is a phenomenal singer, songwriter,
producer, you name it, he's done it. So I love
song um let's do a little background on the actual song Overjoy
so um i did not know this
so originally it was written
in the 1979 album called Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants
but it was left actually left out
and it was re-recorded in 1985 in the album In Square Circle
um wow that was actually pretty interesting about
that but the song hit number one i mean
everywhere you can actually hear it in so many different um movies
and a little bit in commercials
and i love stevie wonder so let's check out um our girl
and you know what i like about the cover
is you know you know the song is amazing by stevie wonder
so um she's um always if she has a
beautiful voice which i'm reading the comments she does
um you know it always improve it and
this is a live session i love live jam session
because the actual musicians are phenomenal by
the
way
um
so
on
that
note
let's
check
it
out
here
we
go
like
her
voice
it
actually
i
felt
like
this song was actually written for her.
Could you imagine her and Stevie Wonder actually doing
a duet together on this song?
I feel like their voice would complement each other. It's
beautifully done. And, you know, when she was singing,
when she started singing, I always like
to look in the background to see what the musicians are doing.
And you can see their face.
they're like yeah she got that voice you know it
was just such a lovely voice i just wanted to you
know pour some wine
and just keep continuing to uh listen to her sing amazing i love that
