Falcons Head Coach Kevin Stefanski Sings the Praises of 49ers QB Brock Purdy

He's a very, very special quarterback. I don't know. I mean, I haven't studied the rest of the league. I'm watching a lot of his tape right now. But it's hard to imagine someone's playing the position better than he is right now. He's an elite processor. You see how quickly he gets through his progressions. He has elite accuracy. And I think he's an elite scrambler. I think he's the best or one of the best off-schedule quarterbacks playing right now. And you watch him. He's a smart scrambler. He's looking to pass. And then when he runs, he can score from 50 yards out as he's done. So just very, very smart, hard to get on the ground. This is a great player. Kevin, is there anything your defense can learn going up against Bijan when they're facing a similar back like CMC and what he can do both in the run game and the pass game? Sure. Yeah, they're both so special, and they're different in their own right. They have a ton of respect for McCaffrey and what he can do in the run game and the pass game. I mean, he's running a gap power schemes. He's on the perimeter running the ball. He's running choice routes out of the backfield. He can line up at wide receiver and run some high level routes that are quote unquote receiver routes. So there's really no shortage of what he can do. Obviously, our guys go up against Bajon and have a ton of respect for the person he is. And they're very different, but they're both, you know, in a very, very elite class.
