Leopard Learns Painful Lesson As Porcupine Quills Get Stuck All Over
A high-speed pursuit tore down the open road as a hungry leopard closed the distance on a porcupine. The porcupine scrambled into the bush, turning to present a formidable wall of sharp quills in a desperate bid to protect itself.
But refusing to let the meal escape, the big cat lunged into the bristles and managed to subdue the porcupine, but not without paying an agonising price. The cat emerged heavily pierced, with dozens of needle-sharp quills embedded across its face, chest, and paws.
