I think I overdid it with the gold on this one, but I LOVE the purple on the negative space white. I used a Jo Sonja's Purple Madder and thinned it down a lot so it would move around easier. No silicone in this mix, just paint, water and Sargent Art gloss medium. I wanted the colors to have a more airy effect and I was able to get that with the thinner paint. This time I used a straw to blow the paint around, but next time I think I will try and hair dryer. I used Liquitex acrylic gold ink and some paint brushed to do the embellishment. I really like the thinner line work and will try that again in the future. With resin, the gold will have a really nice pop of metallic color!
