This is my entry for the Make a Fire contest on BushcraftUSA. It's real hot outside and I lost my tripod so it's going to be a little bit of shaky camera work. I'm supposed to have a 3 foot log, so there's one piece that's a foot long, two pieces, and three pieces. And the widest one across is this one, and you can see it is right around 2 inches. Okay, here's my prep ton of shavings and some pencil lead thickness pencil the pencil lead and The twine 18 and it's over 18 over here. I've got a little bit of shaving Shavings I'm gonna use to start with and I only use the one piece. So I only use the foot of About two inch diameter wood JCL's got my beat
