hey guys i've been working on getting a trailer
hitch down here actually myself and my my neighbor
my neighbor's a automotive genius
and he has made me a custom hitch to go through the bumper
because that's
so low to the ground
so let's go take a look
at it this is what
he made to
fit under here and bolt to these right here
and it's gonna we're gonna have to cut out the bottom
of this i'd
show you
what we
did here
or what my
neighbor
did he cut
this out
so the
hitch
could
fit right in here
and it fits perfectly we had to take
this plastic cover off the bumper take
out these spot welds because this was right
in the one of these was right in the way and just
cut out a notch this and this is my for my wiring
harness for the trailer lights here is where we
are bolting to this i know it's not super heavy duty
but i'm just going to be pulling
that utility trailer maybe with a 500 pound air conditioner
on it anything heavier i'm probably
going to get my pickup guys my neighbor did
not charge me anything for building that hitch for me
so um he has some m18 stuff
and some Makita stuff just like i do but he doesn't have any m12 and
i think he likes my impact so i'm gonna give him
this i'm gonna give him the m12 charger the new
impact a battery
and one of the bigger batteries just
as a thanks for helping me out so much as
he did with this hitch i hope he likes it
while that's drying over there i'm gonna install this
right here so that'll be right

like
they're supposed to i didn't put any screws
through anything i shouldn't have we're about
to
mount
up
that
um
that
hitch
and
see
how
it
all
looks

so
this
is
the
end
product
that's
mounted in plastic but it seems nice
and sturdy bumper is good in fact my bumper is now a hell
of a lot stronger because that bumper
is a little bit flimsy without some kind of reinforcement
i'm happy with that all right we got running lights turned on
left turn signal
and right turn signal sweet
and last test let's put
this in reverse
and check out our backup sensors
