Lyrics:
PIRATE SONG
Narration intro:
This is the story of how, on a very sunny day, on a very sandy beach the twin toddlers fooled an evil pirate!

On a very funny boat
There’s a hairy and ugly man
He’s got a patch on his eye
Holding a map in one hand

Looking through his spyglass he sees
Some kids digging in the sand
A treasure chest full of gold coins
Buried somewhere in that land.

The man is a grumpy pirate
He chases the kids away
He starts digging where the map says
But he doesn’t have all day

I will make them kids come help me
While I rest under this tree
But I will not give them anything
Because it’s all for me!

Treasure chest, Treasure chest (everyone sings)
full of gold coins for me (pirate sings)
Treasure chest, Treasure chest (everyone)
Very rich i’ll be! (pirate)

Dig and dig and nothing happens
This sure is where it must be
But he won’t give up so quickly
Faster! And soon you’ll be free! (pirate’s voice)

Suddenly a wooden box pops out
And everyone screams: WOW! (everyone)
Then the pirate jumps in the pit
And he throws the kids right out

The lock is jammed so he pulls out his gun
And then we all hear: BAM!
Finally the quest is over,
the end of the treasure hunt

He opens up the chest while behind him we see these cheeky boys
They chuckle coz they know the treasure chest
Is full of… Chocolate coins! (pirate yells!)
