All right, middle of the week,
and I am running out of ways to say the nice, sunny weather continues,
this time across the province.
High pressure really clearing us out as we get through the afternoon.
This is going to last as we get through Thursday and most of Friday,
and then another weathermaker starts moving.
So really, I could just play this right
through, and you wouldn't see a lot
other than a little bit of high,
thin cloud as we get through into Thursday,
and this pattern holding into Friday.
Cloud starts to build in Friday,
and I am watching an area of low pressure
that will likely bring a few showers
to southern Manitoba as we head Friday into Saturday.
But for northern Manitoba, there is the potential
with this one to get into some accumulating snow
on the north side of this low as we get through the weekend.
So I'll keep you up to date on that as the forecast
modeling kind of refines
and we get a better picture on the timing
and what exactly we're looking at as it nears.
But as for this afternoon, enjoy temperatures like these.
14 degrees in Winnipeg, 15 to 17 into southwestern Manitoba,
even into northern Manitoba looking at double digits
as we head through the afternoon could
be a little bit breezy at times particularly
on the western edge of the province but by and large
looking at light winds and sunshine through
the afternoon that carries us through uh into Thursday
19 degrees a bit breezy uh in the Red River Valley
as we get into Thursday and Friday chance
of showers in Winnipeg later Friday into Saturday
the winds pick up for the weekend and temperatures
cool down significantly back to single digits for Sunday Monday
and by the time we're at next
Tuesday temperatures around five degrees for daytime highs.
