Ken Paxton Discusses Senate Race Over Beef Jerky, Sets Terms for Talarico Debate

Ken, thank you very much for agreeing to do this, mate. I've been wanting to get to know you a lot, you know what I mean? You hear what people say, and I know what you guys are doing on your campaign. I've been there every step of the way. But I just wanted to get to know you as a guy as well. What I worry about is making sure that this state has a representation that isn't Marxist, that isn't Democratic Socialist, that would do great damage to the state. So I feel the responsibility of that. Do you want to debate him? like you do you have the desire to or not look i'd like if the terms were right i'd have no problem what are your terms so terms of debating i don't want to end up with the cnn reporter covering the the debate so you know i don't i don't know what all the terms are but i do know I don't want a CNN reporter covering the uh covering our debate which is what initially was talked about last thing like Trump said a couple weeks ago that you're ready willing and able to debate is that still true yeah it's always true I love that well good luck with the rest of the campaign I appreciate you like letting me tag along to a few different events I've got a different perspective on politics while covering you so I appreciate you having me and and stop stopping here at a Buc-ee's yeah great to be here thank you so much thank you for the jerky cheers
