(369) Stenciled Flip Cup Moon Painting! Acrylic painting technique

In this video I am doing the flip cup technique on a wood cut out in the shape of a moon. The colors I am using are phthalo blue, purple and magenta. My first flip cups dried very dark so I did a second flip cup with white, magenta and light blue. I either lost or deleted the footage of the second flip cup, but you can see what it looks like all dry before I start stenciling a design. I found these small mandala stencils at Michaels and will use them for other pieces in the future. I used silver paint for the stencils on this one and the silver looks great against the background!
