'RHOP' recap: Wendy calls out Karen for lack of support amid legal battle & Gizelle apologizes to Tia

I'm lasering my ass for Ray, but I'm not wearing my ring, and we're not in a good place. Like, that's kind of conflicting. Go in. Go. Hi, I'm Jenny Murphy. I'm Evan Riela. And Bowie! I like that last week, Robin booed us. Mm-hmm. And now this week, we're in Bowie, which you know about. Yes, I do know about Bowie. I spent a vast portion of my childhood going to summer day camps in Bowie. Now, Giselle seemed not so pleased that this is where this event happened. What are your thoughts? My thoughts are yes. I would not be pleased either. because Bowie is not it's a she's a hard-working town okay she's not a glamorous city and to hold your Sophia home coming event in a random med spa in a random parking lot in Bowie Maryland was a choice now I do like that this was a multi-layered event that nobody really knew the theme of of but I mean but what mattered is it made sense in Karen's mind right and she said yeah we're at a med spa it's the color purple inspired and there's also champagne and Robin has an IV and she kind have insulted everybody almost with their treatment yes so she prescribed a spa treatment to every single girl and there was a twinge of shade in each assignment but then i don't know if she was kind of shading herself because she decided to get her butthole hairs removed she wanted to laser them away but then giselle was very confused about that well i think robin was more confused too right because it's like not for ray because she and ray are like not being intimate at the moment and they're going through a marital no ring crisis of sorts yeah not wearing a ring uh so The question was brought up. Who is she lasering her butthole hair for? Who? Who is it for? I guess the man we see later on in the season. Maybe herself. Or maybe just herself. She did say number one for herself. Right, exactly. Exactly. She phrased it so funny. How did she phrase it? She said the trail was growing up. Hair is like sprouting out of your butt. It is an ambitious track growing up. Yes, the trail was growing up. And I thought... No, I know. It's bad. I didn't know what side we were talking about. Oh she was definitely talking about her butthole, no she did and then we saw them because we saw her sand right and then Ashley was saying when they sat down for their drinks and snacks that she could smell her singed butthole hair, I never imagined that I'd be sitting enjoying this delicious shrimp cocktail still smelling the singes of Karen's booty hairs getting lasered just in the room next door and and that's what still gagged me that Robin brought her IV to the table and just in a bag loose, I'm like now that needle's gonna fall out, yeah it was a I feel bad for this med spot because this really it didn't shine didn't sell it no not at all and then the the massage is because Wendy got a massage but it was kind of just a foot rub because she was in full glam and had a fit on I was confused about that I was like how does this end and I guess she needed her feet rubbed she said a man hasn't rubbed her feet in 15 years Eddie sorry Eddie and I forget who picked up on the fact that oh it was Robin so Robin and Wendy met up right which shook me yeah that was kind of crazy and then the way that Wendy was speaking about Eddie Robin's out here like oh i think she's starting to place blame on Eddie for this whole legal issue i get the feeling that Wendy is kind of maybe blaming Eddie if you're saying there's some issues then that means you might have been blindsided i do think that she's soft launching a case to build the narrative that she was blindsided by Eddie and Robin who is a legal expert of sorts is catching up on that yeah and um Robin is catching up on that Giselle wants nothing to do with it because when her and Tia had their sit-down moment which it seems like in the trailer for next week it doesn't seem like it lasts at all um but Giselle apologized to Tia for how things went down and then Tia was very much like you're giving me support i think we all should be supporting Wendy and Giselle was like i don't support scam and fraud i do want us to step up for Wendy but are we going to act like Wendy did not potentially commit a crime which i feel like i mean like and giselle's going based off of is kind of what robin and wendy were talking about giselle's going based off of what is being reported right so those are the words associated with wendy's predicament and she even kind of brought that up when wendy was yelling at karen when karen said that she's not helping women in and out of prison um that wendy was like but you're not supporting the person in your group in a moment like that yeah i was like oh wait what i was like when you brought that up you're saying you want to help women that have been through that when you literally have a woman at your table who is going through that when we're in new york you're kicking me while i'm down you bring up my mom which is a slap in the face i know that was it wasn't good it was a point you know i understand where she's coming from with it but i was like oh yeah kind of crazy this whole Giselle and Wendy thing but I kind of understand where Giselle's coming from telling Tia that she's not going to support her because like Tia's going through a very different situation Tia was cheated on by her husband well did anyone swipe on him but well there's no I don't know like he says he's on dating apps all the time there was an attempt to cheat and I guess before it's a pattern so that's kind of crazy and that probably even hurt worse because that was the beginning of their marriage so many years ago and then to hear when she was pregnant right and so to hear it's still happening all these years later her kids are like 16 and 18 etc that just really sucks but my point is that what Tia is going through yeah we're gonna rally around you because it's not your fault at all your man's being unfaithful but it's different than Wendy allegedly running an insurance scam with yeah you know so that's a hard thing where it's like i'm like we saw the email i don't know right and look i don't know any updates yet so who knows maybe we're not the judge we're not the jury the trial hasn't happened yet like she's not she hasn't been convicted but Giselle's like she's been arrested either way like it's just not looking good for her I do think Giselle made a good point too where she was like Tia if this was happening to me Wendy would be having a field day if it were me Wendy would run me down to the ground you think so absolutely have you had that experience with her I'm not a scammer 1000% which I was like Tia like you're a little bit newer to the group these girls do not like each other yeah yeah and I feel like if it was happening to Giselle Wendy would go even harder than you know how Giselle's treating the situation with Wendy and Giselle is capable of of more i feel like she's actually she's actually being as nice as she can she's like scaling back you know she's being pretty soft i think she i feel like it was half an olive branch went at the table she was like I'm gonna be going to Capitol Hill and advocating for you know the the organization that she got involved with after her father died I think it's a brain cancer organization brain tumors and she was asking for her advice I'm heading to the Hill I'm going to speak to Congress so I would like a little advice from Wendy on that as you have stepped your feet in these rooms I feel like in that moment she was like low-key like uplifting her presenting in front of the group like this is a woman who's been on Capitol Hill and who's done this amazing work etc etc Wendy what's your advice so it's it's almost like she has the ability to compartmentalize and not be shady in every moment I've heard assume I guess Wendy from her interactions with Giselle usually I wonder if Wendy in that moment she's like so you're saying this to me because you know I'm not getting opportunities like that ever oh you've been on Capitol Hill before right yeah I'm just like grain of I'm like you know I could see if Wendy was like and also you've been calling me a scammer I'm just I'm just so naive there was shade in it I you know I could see I was calling for it I could see how it could be perceived shade gotcha so you think it was like low-key pettiness like pettiness wrapped in a bow I think it could be a little bit wow well I could see because I'm like Giselle doesn't give a ---- about advice that's probably true okay wow you're opening my eyes i didn't think about it that way but i i think y'all i think danny might be right so who knows but i do know that uh wendy and karen really got into it and i think they'll continue to get into it because that was a kind of dramatic end yeah yeah remind me how did it end like i'm sorry i can only you know what how it ended it i think it's gonna have to continue because oh i see karen was kind of just like we're not like when it comes to karen the only thing i can remember is her getting her butthole hair removed so i kind of everything else just kind of that's probably also like wendy was critiquing about how she was handling their relationship and her pain wait what wendy was critiquing how karen operates with her but karen was probably in a little pain after oh oh yeah oh totally because i've never had laser hair removal but i hear it is painful i hear it's painful but more effective so her butthole is probably really raw and like to have an argument while you have like a raw scab butthole yeah like that's just that's just really i don't know i mean aren't they burning it it's i don't know now i'm thinking about karen's scab what i'm thinking about is did you see the did you see the preview clip they dropped of giselle robin and Ashley sitting down tell me all about it Robin does not give a about Ashley yikes and Robin is saying bringing up to Ashley and Giselle how we should be giving a little more grace to Wendy curious Robin saying that but see I don't understand how Robin's tune changed so quickly just over one lunch that's okay because remember when we were at the carpet with Robin at BravoCon two years ago and she was saying like I'm happy I'm not on the show with Wendy as she said I don't want to misquote her but she was saying some things not positive about Wendy yeah so how did we get here and then she was saying do you think she's advocating on behalf of Wendy to drive a wedge in between Giselle and Ashley somehow is she like using that as an opportunity she can do two things at once because her wedge with Giselle and Ashley was Robin was like Ashley was like because Robin was basically saying Giselle how we talk about her on the podcast she said I told her that we covered the news but how you describe it and how you guys discuss it with Wendy said to Robin but Ashley's like but you've said some things about me on the podcast Robin I don't always like and I think it's because you don't like me and Robin was like who told you that and Ashley was like well Giselle said that you kind of are sometimes cautious of me so i'm like i feel like everyone's tattling on giselle it seems i don't really know what cookie crumbles where and i do know giselle and robin are like best best best best friends but i also think giselle and ashley are best best best friends i don't know do you know who's gonna love to see all this karen karen with her singed butthole hairs she's like i love to see giselle get tattled on a little popcorn at home candace oh 1000 percent i feel like if candace saw those three girls on the screen she'd turn off but actually no she's nice but actually yeah she's pretty nice i do always wonder how she and wendy are i think there's a question mark around their friendship they don't really talk about each other and you know yeah i don't know what's going on with them but um we won't find out about that next week but we're gonna find out more about this whole robin ashley giselle moment because the lunch seemed very interesting they just gave us like a two minute clip but i want more so we will get more next week
