The 49ers Could Trade for DeForest Buckner Before the Deadline

Let's stick with the Indianapolis Colts. They lost again. They freaking stink. Most teams in the NFL do. That's something I learned when I covered the Niners. It's just watching the Niners and I get, you know, zeroed in on them. But then they have the day off and I watch the teams. I was like, oh, you stink and you stink and you stink. Indianapolis Colts, you stink. And after the game, DeForest Buckner seems so disheartened. So it's the same. He's tired of the same old song and dance every year. Yeah, I would, too, especially if that's happening in Indianapolis, Indiana. uh do you think that i mean he's got one year left on his deal he's 32 years old you could probably get him for like a fourth if it's a fourth why not he's still really good like why not a fourth i i want DeForest back that would be so awesome if he came back like he i i'm on his side imagine living in indiana and after like it's every year the colts have been the same team since i've been born like i don't remember the colts ever being good buckner should want out i love buckner he's a great player only thing is though he's like he's 32 he's had some neck injuries he's playing pretty well this year i just all suddenly feel like defensive tackle isn't really their biggest issue that's what that's what you know what i mean like grayson halton's like asserting himself and so is sebastian valdez and you just traded for osa so if you bring in buckner you're probably not going to play halton as much which is fine but like no no i don't think that's fine at all you got it yeah you have to play Halton, you want to play Halton like he's hella good, he looks like a star that that's actually I was exactly thinking that because I tweeted like come home DeForest, come home but I was like do I want him to come to the 49ers because like Haltons the future, he is dude and so is Valdez, yeah how did he fall to the fourth round how like I don't understand, I don't know, I don't it makes zero sense because he wasn't big enough the guy plays like he's Alfred Collins size, he's better than Alfred Collins and he gets in the backfield and he's good against the run and the pass he's hella good yeah you know what do you think Buckner would even want to come back here I mean he wouldn't have a choice but I feel like there's probably bad blood but we're five and oh he'd be like dude I'm on a shitty ass team there was bad blood with Dre Greenlaw and there wasn't five and oh team and Cali like send me there right now I actually think that I'm gonna change my mind I actually don't want Buckner back like I would rather us get someone else at the deadline like we don't I really like Valdez and I really like Halton like those two guys have been so impressive and I think just keep keep rolling with those guys to me I think they need an edge rusher I think that's the spot like if they could get Bryce Huff to come out of retirement and be like prime Bryce Huff that would be a great addition for them I think they need a guy who can win quickly like when you're winning when you're up six with two minutes left in the fourth quarter and you know they got a pass and go hurry up down the field it'd be great to have someone who can end the game from the edge and that's what you're paying Nick Bosa to do and I think that they're still thinking that he will be able to do that But, man, we're going to talk about Bosa later.
