I had to add one more layer to this painting. My husband thought the large blue areas needed a little something more so he suggested some lighter blue on top to break up the really dark areas. I used the same technique that I've used previously of adding my pouring medium as the base, thinning down my light blue, and then using my airbrush to move the paint around. Adding the paint worked well and I think this would have so many possibilities to add extra layers to poured pieces that need a little something extra!

Good morning everyone. Today I'm going to work on this large 24 inch circle again. My husband suggested maybe adding some light blue in these areas to break up the really dark blue. I'm not going to add a lot. I just mainly want some lacing. So I have my pouring medium that I'm going to put down as my base just to help the paint move and then I have just some of this really light blue that I'm going to add I'm not going to add a lot of it just a little to see what I can do and then I have my airbrush to move the paint around so this will most likely be the last layer that I put on this one I do like it it's a little busy but I tried a lot of different techniques on this but I have the spray paint I have my acrylic paint I have gold alcohol ink and then I'll be putting one more layer of paint on here so quite a few techniques quite a few mediums it's been fun just practicing on something like this because I haven't done I would say this many layers on one painting before so I'm just going to add a little bit of my pouring medium in a few spots I'm not going to add a lot of the light blue but I'll add a little bit and see what I can create with that just on top of this dark blue and that could be a way to kind of layer and add more designs to your pieces. So I'm going to grab my blue and the airbrush and we will try this out with this dry and I'll take a look once it is and we'll see what it looks like. I do have a picture of before and after so we'll see if it looks better with or without but I do like the addition. I think this would be interesting to do a pour especially on wood since this is a wood circle the grain the wood grain is kind of creating a nice texture to it that when I put the medium down and then put the color into it it's kind of dispersing on its own so that's kind of interesting to see and I think you could do some really nice layered colors that way looks like when it's dry and see if it's a nice little addition but I hope you guys enjoyed thank you so much for watching and I'll see you in the next video
