(503) Abstract Acrylic Painting Demonstration! Fluid Acrylics and Water

Abstract Acrylic Painting Demonstration! Fluid Acrylics and Water

I'm doing another video with only paint and water! No pouring medium in any of this. I am using a variety of tube paints and fluid acrylics including Indigo, ocean green, white, turquoise, Prussian blue and purple. I have been inspired but quite few artists that I follow on Instagram and while I enjoy pour painting, I want to try out some other styles and techniques using fluid acrylics. This was SO much fun and using water in a spray bottle and the palette knife really game me a lot of control in this painting.

I am using an 18" x 24" stretched canvas and a paddle brush to put the first layer of paint down. In the clear bottle I have water and I am using a small palette knife to move the paint around the canvas.
