Germany's Wild North: Life in the Wendland | Full Documentary

An immersive nature documentary exploring the Wendland in northern Germany, one of Europe's last great rural wildernesses. Filmmakers Klaus Weißmann and Wilma Kock spend two years documenting the unique Elbe floodplains, medieval circular villages, and diverse wildlife—including wolves, beavers, cranes, and rare insects—while highlighting how climate change and summer droughts threaten this historic ecosystem.
